Re: $12 - should I be folding at some point here?

I'm checking preflop (definitely not raising), betting the same postflop. Ghostrida smoothcalls the flop, min bets the turn after I check, which could mean several things. I like to find out early...

Re: switching to 33s

Change your name to 710offsuit, and start playing 7 10 offsuit like it's the nuts. Never muck it. If people knew you did that, would you get more action? At the very least, you'd get an LOL after...

Re: right move with AK on loaded flop?

It's a big overbet. You're going to lose to anyone that calls (straight, two pair, set). The AQ, AJ, J-10 might call a reraise, but not your all in.

I'd raise preflop.

But, as you played...

Re: how much time do we think we have?

Seriously though. Either the senate will approve it by around September and the president will sign it soon after that. There is also a delay before it is enforced, but I'd imagine this isn't longer...

Re: how much time do we think we have?

Well, I've been married for 3 months now, so I'm guessing about 6-9 more months of fun.

If you know what I mean.

Re: PP 11 Play this hand with me

Would BB go all-in before the preflop raiser had a chance to bet if he was sitting on 2 pair, a set, or an overpair? I doubt it.

To me, this is a classic case of strong bet means weak hand. ...

Re: PP 11 Play this hand with me

I'm raising to about 150-200 preflop. When the Q high flop hits, I'm going busto or win every time with AQ.

Re: Daily Show talking about Sen. Stevens/ HR4411

Sounds like his staff conned him with the "it's not late, the internet was just slow I guess". Here's his quote:

"I just the other day got, an internet was sent by my staff at 10 o’clock in the...

Re: ($55s) SB vs BB, river confused me.

Thats just bad luck, the kind where you catch a playable hand, and it runs into a slightly better playable hand.

I'd have done the same thing as you, and folded on the river. He knows you have...

Re: Sit and go bubble, was it right to set this guy ALL IN?!

I'd put him all in. If the blind is 200/400 and he hasn't played a hand in forever, he's probably weak. I'd say there is a 50% chance he has a mid pair or A8ish and a 50% chance he has a real...

It won\'t be illegal to play poker online?

It won't be illegal to play poker online, but it will be illegal for banks to allow transfer of money to a poker site?

So basically, if we can find a way around using a bank for transfers to and...

Re: Taxes - Need help.

Consider your age as well. A 21 year old who files for the first time (after 3-4 years of not filing) has to be less likely to get audited than a 45 year old who files for the first time in 3-4...

Re: PP $11...Fun w/99

You have enough for a standard bet, more than 10xBB. More important is that both SB and BB have less than or around 10xBB. If they're going to play, they'll be playing their whole stack most...

Re: $109 PS and $55: Evaluate a few hands please.

1st hand) His reraise puts him in the AQ/AK/AA/KK/QQ range. Of these, AK and AQ are most likely. Actually, I'd expect an AA or KK to not reraise so much preflop, as they'll want a call, but I...

Re: Quick Line check with AK

I usually stick with 3xBB preflop, but I'm fine with your betting, including the c-bet with a crap flop and 2 villians. The guy who reraised all-in almost definitely has a higher pair than the...

Re: (114) 2 pair hand vs acesedai

IMO, he's semi-bluffing a weak pair, a flush draw, or a straight draw, with a straight draw most likely. It's possible he has a weak pair and a straight draw to go with it, or a weak pair, and a...

Re: Hey look what I learned from watching curtains play!!

You're giving him credit for being a tight solid player by assuming he has AK. But, min raising with AK in early position is a weak move, and so how can you possibly give him credit for the strong...

Good.

Way more important would be a letter sent to your senators letting them know your feelings.

Re: can I get away from AK on AQ8 flop facing a minraise (PP 109)

Given your read on the MP1, the 500 chip caller, you have to push over the top of the BB all-in.

The BB sees your weak bet and min raises. He's probably semi-bluffing with a weaker ace, 99-JJ,...

Re: getting bankrolled

50/50 for a tourney.

Initial bankroll plus 25-100% of initial bankroll depending on how good they percieve you to be (risk/reward).
