Default Quick Line check with AK

Sorry, no HH therefore no converter. I think this is pretty standard, but just wanted a little checkup.

1st hand of $22 PP Speed (Blinds 20/40)
Hero dealt AKo
UTG limps, Hero raises to 160, CO-2 calls, BB calls, UTG Folds.

Flop 2,3,5 rainbow. Hero bets 300, CO-2 Pushes, BB Folds, Hero Folds.

I wouldn't bother betting into two villains.

yep what Mark said, dont bother betting into two villains. Certainly not if you are oop.
pre-flop bet I like to make 100-120. Keep the pot small, if you dont hit your hand your toast anyway, save yourself some chips.

Only reason I raised this particular hand was because there was also the gutshot, so if called I had some additional outs. Looking back, yeah...check seems best as I'm getting raised by any pair.

Anyone call the push though? There's a decent overlay, your at worse a coinflip, and theres also a chance he's pushing this with AJ+.

Although it is the first hand, so the villian may be pushing something like AJ+, I don't think you could possibly call. It's too early to risk your whole tournament on a 10 outer at best.

means that by definition

this isn't true.

But you are right...it is too early for that risk. High cards pushing aren't likely enough to make this profitable.

If he's actually pushing AJ+ then its not true, but can you really put him on that range? I don't see how he doesn't have a pair.

I usually stick with 3xBB preflop, but I'm fine with your betting, including the c-bet with a crap flop and 2 villians. The guy who reraised all-in almost definitely has a higher pair than the board. This early in the tournament, it's not worth finding out. I'm folding this ten times out of ten.

At this stage I'm probably checking to see what these doofus are doing... Anyone with an over pair like 66+ at this level will shove on you all day here, I check/fold this flop... maybe I am too weak at this stage.
