Re: Calling Stattions\'s table unbeatable

This is true Andy B.

Re: \'Going Pro\'- a serious conversation

Very true. I have not had Variance effect me that much, but it does suck.

Over the last three weeks, I have had so many bad sessions that it is laughable. I figured I had a few beers and messed...

Re: Would The World Be Better Off If-

My answer would be no.

Some folks talked about religion, etc. below.

So let me turn the tables and ask all of you this...

Re: I Think It Might Be Time To Buy TASR

Sorry about my last post David.

TASR seems good. I have a few other related stocks to throw into this thread...

EML is one. GEO is another one. CXW, AH, and UUU are three others that I would...

Re: Would You Buy This Stock?

The EV is negative.

The reason is that it is beyond stupid to buy a stock because someone tells you to.

The fact that he is a millionaire is irrelevant. I know plenty of millionaires that...

Re: New Fight Question

This is a question that can't be answered. It also makes you look like a bunch of college student UFC wannabes.

BTW, a Navy SEAL just won the Army Combatives competition. How friggin...

Re: Who Do You Fear on Party?

This posts for you Beermoney!

I play in a live game twice a week which is strictly nickel and dime stuff but we talk strategy for the casino games.

I tell them about you as I have played you...

I learned some of the names from friendly tourneys with them.

Re: Who Do You Fear on Party?

Interesting point how players can't change gears. That was in your last paragraph.

I have not played at any of these limits for a while so I can't really comment. I do watch these games though. ...

Re: Looking for Another Site to Play Stud.

I have to agree. I make a few hundred bucks a month at PArty Poker playing small stakes.

However, things there can be pretty damn aggravating. Games lately have been very odd. A lot of obnoxious...

12K is the standard answer. I would do it for less.

As for question 2... I have no answer. I am not good enough to play this high and have never been there.

What do three people play it...

Re: Heads up against a semi-solid sort

Thanks for the play by play.

I agree with the rest that you didn't play this badly but I would have probably dropped fifth.

This hand is a tough one. Glad you made it!

I THINK I understand why you are not re raising like some of the other folks said to do but I am a bit confused.

It seems like you have the best hand but don't think you...

Re: Players Changing Seats Around Me

This and Andy B's post was very enlightening to me.

I had no idea why people would do crap like this.

Superstition and trying to intercept cards, too fargin' funny.

Re: low limit blues -- comments needed

I am glad that you have posted winnings, Clair.

The amount doesn't matter much. That's why a lot of these guys refer to small bets and big bets when they are talking about the pot.

Re: No Check-raising Allowed?

If you are playing low limits, you rarely get a chance to use the check-raise as everyone is usually so passive that they will take the free card.

The only time I get to use it is if I am playing...

Re: Trying not to make a fool out of myself...

You're the man Jeffage.

The tournaments probably over but I would add that there is more variance in Stud and people love to chase. It can be a friggin' roller coaster ride.

Re: Good books for 7 Card Stud?

I agree with Andy B. about reading the loose section in 7CSFAP.

I would like to point something out. Advanced plays are obviuosly no good for low limit games. However, you should think about WHY...

Very well said.

I have to admit that it really angers me when I hear these table coaches going nuts berating players.

To me, it is the height of absurdity. Do some of these "great" players...
