Re: AK suited facing 3 flush flop

Fold. Villian seems pretty reckless, but he could have a wide range of made hands to strong draws. You still have ~58 bb, and position on villian for most of the hands. Let it go and pick him off...

Re: near the bubble, short on chips, dealt QQ. All in pre or on the flop?

Definitely a push preflop. Raising to 2500 or 3000 is just giving everyone with a big stack good pot odds, and an ace or king will flop a fair amount of time and then you are left in a quandary. ...

Re: Failed steal makes bottom pair against lag

Bet the flop. He'll fold a lot in this spot, or he may be calling with the worst hand. As played, I'd fold on the river because you aren't really ahead of much.

no calling UTG period

[/ QUOTE ]

I disagree. There are no set rules on ways to play hands in poker. Many successful mtt'ers and cash game players often call utg.
As played, I...

Re: Shortstacked, facing a raise and a call in MP

I dont'think this is a good time for a squeeze play because you have no FE. MP2 is gonna call with anything because he will be getting at least 3.4-1 calling your all in, and he has more than a...

Re: Top pair, no kicker OOP

[ QUOTE ]
I will steal with any two but not generally with rag aces. Now you're here check-push or just push.

[/ QUOTE ]

I agree. Ace-rag is going to get you into more trouble than good. In...

Re: What do I do now? AQo UTG

[ QUOTE ]
How often would someone who just put half his stack in fold to a flop push here?

[/ QUOTE ]

Not very often if has any idea what he is doing.

I would also lean towards folding...

How active have you been and what is your read on the others. That being said, I think I would would fold in this spot with all this action, if you and the others involved haven't gotten too out of...

Welcome aboard Snarf.

I started out STTing too and in STT forum, realized that STT is formulaic and boring, moved to learn and play to MMT field.

Re: betting into dry pots

If u have a good or made hand, i think you should value bet a lot of the time in this situation. You may end up adding important chips to your stack. This is often a very dependent circumstance...

Re: QQ, should\'ve laid it down

I think your opening raise is fine. When he called your raise on the flop I would slow down. He either has a 4 or an overpair like 55-1010, most likely. I would check it down after he called your...

Re: Maybe a take on a situation I thought to be correct is a leak?

What is a large opportunity to you? A coinflip? An overpair?

I would pass up coinflips with another dominant stack if you are stealing at will. It's not worth the risk when you can chip up so...

You only had Two Option Fold or call. No way you could Raise. The problem is the turn. If you hit no sweat But if Not now what. Your back to where you were at the flop.

Re: ($20/180) BB Bubble hand, please help!

This is a tough spot. Personally i fold this pf because i do not like playing a mediocre hand oop versus a lag. If everyone else has been playing tight on the bubble, then there are many better...

Re: AQs after limpers (Problem 2, HOH 3)

I'm guessing this is still early on in the tourny...but if everyone has big stacks, then the blinds are not of much value in relation to your stack size. Therefore you're best bet, imo, is to...

Re: Rules/Ettiquette Question: Marked Card

i would declare a misdeal and get a new deck. I don't care if he is joking or not, because when he says the "ace of clubs" you're likely to give off some reaction affirming his "guess."

Re: 3ra overcall in big pot...

Bet flop, easiest and cheapest way to find out if you're behind. If you are gonna check flop bc you have been cbetting constantly, then definitely bet turn. I would expect BB to have 99,1010, maybe...

Re: $50 MTT AK BB

push. Good hands don't come along that often and your stack is starting to dwindle. I think you need to make a move. He'll most likely call getting about 2.3-1, but you could have a coinflip or...

Re: Deep in the Stars $35K guranteed. Trying to isolate

The problem here is you really have no sense of how strong the CO is. By pushing, you could be donating a 1/3 of your stack to a hand that has you dominated.

Another option is to...
