Default ($20/180) BB Bubble hand, please help!

First, if someone can explain to me how to use the hand converter, or link me to one that works I'd appreciate it. I spent 20 minutes trying to convert the hand and everytime it converted, id get about 4-5 lines as an output and when i pasted that into the message board the necessary information was not there.

About the hand, 19 people left, me and villain have been the two most LAGish people on the table. If anyone can help here, I'd appreciate it, because I'm not sure how good my line is, especially on the river.

PokerStars Game #5952195298: Tournament #30132852, $20+$2 Hold'em No Limit - Level X (400/800) - 2006/08/17 - 16:06:10 (ET) Table '30132852 11' 9-max Seat #2 is the button Seat 1: PokerErkki (18385 in chips)
Seat 2: SNK123 (15600 in chips)
Seat 4: Toddy3 (3807 in chips)
Seat 5: Metnut (23910 in chips)
Seat 6: Bear2525 (6290 in chips)
Seat 9: Failing (14342 in chips)

Metnut: posts big blind 800

*** HOLE CARDS ***
Dealt to Metnut [8c Ts]
Bear2525: folds
Failing: raises 1600 to 2400
PokerErkki: folds
SNK123: folds
Toddy3: folds
Metnut: calls 1600

*** FLOP *** [Tc 2h Jh]
Metnut: checks
Failing: checks

My thoughts: He's been laggish enough that if i bet out, he might raise me with overs or who knows what and I'm not really in the mood to call an allin here. I'd much rather check raise here if possible, to get maximum value + folding equity.

*** TURN *** [Tc 2h Jh] [5s]
Bear2525 said, "bubble bout to burst"
Metnut: bets 4800
Failing: calls 4800

*** RIVER *** [Tc 2h Jh 5s] [3h]
Metnut: bets 8000

My Thoughts: I think a bet here isn't horrible. If he loses this hand he goes out on the bubble, I think I have a lot of FE on this bet, but the problem is that I'm not really sure if I'm value betting or bluffing here.

If anyone can help me out here I'd appreciate it. Thoughts on all streets welcome.

Firstly, there's no reason to call here if you aren't going to bet any flop (modified stop-and-go type of thing). If you read him for a steal, go over the top preflop. I think calling here is spew.

As played, I'm very confused as to what he could have. I don't see why a LAG wouldn't fire on the flop with a hand that beats you, but i don't see how he could call the turn without one. He could be slowplaying something like JT...

I don't think a river bet is good as you only get called by a hand that beats you. Check and fold I think.

This is a tough spot. Personally i fold this pf because i do not like playing a mediocre hand oop versus a lag. If everyone else has been playing tight on the bubble, then there are many better spots for you to chip up.

As played I think I would bet 2500-3000 on turn and the river I think I would check. If he bets and is not committed i'd move in, otherwise i'd fold. Being a lag, i'd be fairly sure he bet a flush draw on the flop, so I don't think he could have it.

Thats exactly the thing here. I was really at a loss as to what he could have and really wanted to be the aggresor on the bubble.

Check/call the river. You have second pair on a flush board.

Bet less on the turn or check/call with second pair.

I really like the push preflop if villain has been making loose raises.

I wouldn't flat call preflop with this hand, but I don't think the call is bad.

The one in the FAQ works fine just remeber to change so the hand is converted to the 2+2 forums and not ITH.
