open up your range against him especially if you can isolate raise big...dont cbet, hope to connect. Post flop play is simple if you have it bet it and dont have it fold it

Re: Party 200NL, put myself in bad position.

Re: NL25 T6s: I wasn\'t sure about this one.

preflop is fine... ill often complete with any 2 suited you just have to be comfortable handling marginal holdings postflop.

flop play in my opinion was weak...I would reraise here, its not about...

Re: 100 NL TT

I think I lean towards carnivalhobo's thinking. TT maybe the 5th best starting hand in poker but unless I trip up Im not playing it for a monster pot. I dont want to bloat a pot with a hand that can...

Re: 100 NL TT

ok so 3 betting preflop is alright even against a shortie? Against a full buy in player I would have probably reraised but a shortie easily could push with a wide range and force me to fold

Re: (100NL 6-max) What\'s my line here?

I typically just call here getting 4-1 and re-evaluate on the turn. Often the min-raise indicates a hand, and if you push you probably dont have as much fold equity as you think.

Re: bankroll swings

I 4 table 6 max 50NL and am currently in a 4 buy-in downswing over 2k hands and I can say with upmost certainty that my downswing is not attributed to bad play.

Re: having a lot of trouble going from NL25 --> NL50

if your standard preflop raises are getting no respect, raise more.

When I moved from 25-50NL I too first hit a 4-5 buy in downswing immediately. I guess its just adjusting to the play at the...

Re: Party SSNL vs WSEX

In my opinion 2 tables is optimal for learning online play. This is of course after knowing the basics (pot odds, implied odds, hand rankings...). This way you dont get bored out of your mind....
