For crying out loud, how can people be recommending multi-tabling (even 2 tabling) while the guy is learning the game???? IMO that is absolutely TERRIBLE advice.

Play 1 table when you are learning. A complete no-brainer.

In my opinion 2 tables is optimal for learning online play. This is of course after knowing the basics (pot odds, implied odds, hand rankings...). This way you dont get bored out of your mind. Playing one table give you the temptation of playing some hands you shouldnt.

WPEX sucks. The software blows.

Well Hologrham I would humbly submit to you that learning patience is part of learning the game.

If the only reason you are multi-tableing is to eleviate boredom, then I think that approach is 100%, 22-caret wrong. To go a step further and call this approach "optimal", as you do, is little short of ludicrous. With respect.

Finally, the OP is clearly too focused on winning and not on learning: playing WPEX, multi-tabing, using "tricks" to extract value from multi-tabling opponants etc. 100% the wrong approach IMO.

This thread is actually quite depressing.

My favorite thing to do when playing against someone who is obviously 9 tabling is to max out my clock, then minibet You will get a enough of those who have clicked 'fold any bet' by that point, even on $10 pots (0.25 low bet) to make it worth while. It is also about the most annoying thing ever to a multi-tabler.

LOL. I love doing this. Once I've seen a player do instafold once after the flop, I'll ALWAYS take extra time and then make a minraise, just in case I can take an easy pot.

Unfortunatly no shorthanded NL games(6 max or HU) on WSEX. I have already sent them an email requesting this. If other wants to get shorthanded NL at WSEX send them a mail at:
