Re: Where do the winnings come from?

People who lose dont like to talk about it. I have a lot of friends who see my success and think they can hop on and do the same, they just end up borrowing money from me and paying me back in cash...

Re: Bankrolls of the Poker Youth

Im in the exact same situation as you are. Same age, except no loan, and I started playing poker in Dec 2004(which is probably the reason i have no loan) I keep poker strictly seperate from work...

Re: 30K/40K stat post. Please advise

Dont worry about it. I had similar stats when i moved from 2/4 to 3/6 and the same thing happened. It turned around eventually. You need to understand that your winrate will go down a bit and you...

Re: spewage with AA or do i have to call?

Well played, just remember that when you are running good, its because people are calling down your AA with J2 bottom pair.

Re: The \"Donkey\" Concept

The difference is that poker can be very frustrating at times and people get to hide behind their monitor. Its the same reason that people are [censored] in their cars...what are you gonna do, right?

Re: AQ, am I too passive?

[ QUOTE ]
This guy would 3-bet preflop with AJ. He probably has A5 and got counterfeited on the river.
I really like raising this river and folding to a 3-bet since the flush card and paired board...

Re: Multiple Tables

The goal would be to play as many tables as possible without getting off of your 1 table game.

Re: Should I Have Folded?

I think you were doomed on this one...I think I might have even pushed rather than flat calling. Once the guy behind you pushes, you have to know you are behind, the question is how far behind.

Re: AQ, am I too passive?

Looks fine to me, I hate getting capped here with the J out, because AK and AJ are now ahead...seems pretty standard.

Re: Wait until the turn?

I prefer to bet out, or at least raise the flop. You wouldnt have been too happy if he had J9 or clubs on this one. Usually ill save tricky plays like these for a drawless board. Still not the...

Re: timing tells and a hand

First, you just wanted to brag about a nice call (which it is). If I have a previous history with a player, and he starts auto betting me, I find that often they are bluffing. (that is if they are...

Re: Question for limit players

I guess the first thing I should mention is that no matter how well you play, you will get screwed over plenty of times...sometimes for much longer than you thought was possible. Other than that, go...
