Should I Have Folded?
I was playing at the casino last night ($1-$2 No Limit) and I was wondering if I made the right move. Hopefully you guys can help me out so I know what to do in the future.
I was in middle position with KsKc. I raised to $10 pre-flop and got 4 callers including the big blind. The flop came out 2d, 3d, 4s. The big blind immediately went all-in for $115. He had been playing VERY loose/aggressive. I think he had read Super System a few too many times. The guy to my immediate right folded, so there were 3 of us remaining in the hand. I called the $115, leaving me with $85. The button then went all-in. I hadn't had a chance to see what kind of player he was yet. I called him too. The original raiser (the guy who raised $115 after the flop) turned over Qd6d. I turned over the KsKc. The guy on the button turned over 5d, 6h for the nut straight. My question is...Should I have called the original raiser with KK despite knowing that there was one player left to act after me? Also, I'm pretty sure I had to call the guy on the button that went all-in after I called the $115 since it was just $85 more, but I'm not positive. What do you guys think? |

Re: Should I Have Folded?
I think you were doomed on this one...I think I might have even pushed rather than flat calling. Once the guy behind you pushes, you have to know you are behind, the question is how far behind.
