Re: AK double maybe even TRIPPEL barrel?
Agreed with the above two posters. Double barrel to tell him "no, I wasnt making a standard c-bet with my missed AK, I actually have aces!" and if he calls, basically telling you "I have TT or JJ...

With the intention of doing what? Shoving the turn for all of your remaining sixty-some dollars? That's terrible. Just shove all in here.

Re: NL100 10\'s OOP vs Lagtard
I too find myself curious as to how you consider a 29/11/3 to be a lagtard. A 40/30/5 is a lagtard, 29/11/3 is just the tard part, without the lag /images/graemlins/smile.gif. As played, I don't...

Re: NL100 - Combo draw to two shoves
Well, let's do the math. It's $59 more to you, and there is $100 in the pot. I think you should fold here - even forgetting the short stack (who I think very often has a better flush draw here), if...

Re: AA CRAI Turn?
Are you seriously advocating a fold here? First of all, yeah, this guy's not tremendously loose preflop, but 23% vpip is not exactly a rock. Also, his aggression factor post flop is 3 - so he is...

Re: The Well: 23act
I realize that c-betting is very situation-dependant, but I was wondering what your c-bet percentage comes out to be over the long run.

Re: 100 NLH 6max: KK facing raise on flop
He bets AJ, KJ, QJ more often than one would think, as well as random bluffs and draws (spades, maybe a combo draw). As for losing the first two hands, you should rebuy back to a full stack after...

Re: Few 1/2 Hands From the Trop in AC
Hand one I don't see what you can possibly put him on that you have any FE against - a push is terrible here. Call and hope to hit your flush.
Hand two you also can't call I think - you're...

Re: 100NL button raise 3-bet
There doesn't seem to be an edit button in my above post - I meant nothing wrong with a preflop call, not a flop call - hate a flop call after an ace flops.

Re: 100NL button raise 3-bet
Nothing wrong with a flop call, as long as you have a good sense of where you're at postflop against this player. Nothing wrong with your flop play. I will also often fold or 4 bet this preflop - I...

Re: 50NL: Interesting hand SSNL may appreciate
You really should just reraise this preflop - if you take it down there, that's ok. If not, at least you have a better idea of what your opponents might have. Of course you'll fold out a lot of...

Re: i have an overpair
I say push. Among other things, if you start often betting the flop and turn and then folding to a min raise you'll find yourself getting run over in future hands. Plus I think you're ahead a lot...

Re: 200NL - Bottom set on flop, PLZ HELP.
Your goal with the raise should have been to get him to push all in. Absolutely gotta call - if he flopped an overset or a straight, that's a cooler. From the mumbling, an overpair or two pair...

Re: 200NL - Bottom set on flop, PLZ HELP.
I'd raise and raise big enough that a reraise by him all in would be a relatively small raise. He made a tiny bet into that pot - I'd raise him up to $85 or $90 and hope he pushes.

Re: 200 - calling 40BB pushes
Ok, boys and girls, math time: you need to call $68.05 into a pot of $93.05, giving you 1.36:1 odds. This means that for the call to be profitable you need to win 42.241% of the time. Keep in...

Bet more on the flop (8) and turn (24) - you want to be able to push any blank river without having to make an overbet. As played c/c any reasonable riverbet (i'd probably fold if villain...

Re: My stats from yesterday....
Honestly, we can't even tell how loose or tight you are from these stats. First of all, 1000 hands is nothing. Secondly, the VP$IP stat you get from PT is much much MUCH more useful than a flops...
