200 - calling 40BB pushes

Villain is at the table for ~20hands. Done nothing too remarkable so far (32/20). Once raised AQo and pushed over a min 3-bet for his stack (30BB), lost and rebought for ~80.

How crazy is my call here?

it's really not. donks tend to do this with small pairs and AQ kind of crap that they limped the first time around. would you call with 88? i would, but the difference between JTs and 88 isn't huge against a typical 40bb range.

if these guys are doing this a ton, having all these baby pots raked for 5% hurts the overlay created by our initial raise, but i really like to knock these 40bb idiots off the table.

not horrible, but couldn't we pick a better spot to get all of our money in against monkey tilt, worse case though he doubles up and you probably win it back anyways but i mean your usually always a 2 to 1 dog on this, but then again who loses coinflips nowadays?

actually i called expecting to be a (small) favourite 90% of the time. While contemplating the call i remembered a hand discussed here 3 weeks ago about calling a push 100BB deep with J9s.
but i agree, this call is probably a little bit too much on the 'gogogo' side.

the J9s call sucked and the pot odds in this hand are different.

i do think the preflop raise kind of sucks. i'd much prefer KJ+ to be doing this. i think people's distaste for the raise is biasing their analysis of the call, which i think is fine
