In the hand, I raised to $80 total. Villain started mumbling about me being on a heart draw (I think that's what he said... he was mumbling) and then he shoved in. It was $212 more back to me.

Still an easy call?

Well chances of you beeing behind are greater now that he pushed AI but you would you fold???

Yes - it's still an easy call.

Your goal with the raise should have been to get him to push all in. Absolutely gotta call - if he flopped an overset or a straight, that's a cooler. From the mumbling, an overpair or two pair sounds more likely.

if you raise him on the flop and if there are still people behind you who covers you, you simply commit yourself to the pot. Most of the times people don't push it for draws especially when they are 2 buyins + and that means that if they push behind you that usually means that you're against a straight. I don't even want to talk about set over set when you're nearly drawing dead. If there's only the big blind, you can gamble with him even on the flop. But if people behind you covers you, raising there on flop is a fatal mistake.
