Default AA CRAI Turn?

Villain 23/2.7/3 over 180 hands.

2 hands before this, on AAQ flop, I bet/called minraise, and CRAI turn with AQ. He thought for a minute and then folded.

Poker Stars - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.50/$1 Blinds - 5 Players - (LegoPoker HH Converter)

SB: $59.50
BB: $101.10
UTG: $100.00
Hero (CO): $144.00
BTN: $60.35

Preflop: Hero is dealt A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (5 Players)
UTG folds, Hero raises to $4.00, BTN calls $4.00, SB folds, BB calls $3.00

Flop: ($12.50) Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (3 Players)
BB checks, Hero bets $9.00, BTN calls $9.00, BB folds

Turn: ($30.50) J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 Players)
Hero checks, BTN bets $14.00, Hero?

He has 33 left.

i think its likely he has a big pair, he's not a loose player by any means.. I think you still see a lot of hands here AQ, AJ, but maybe QJ too the way its played... KT is a possiblity, but unlikely given his tight nature.. he doesnt seem out of line, so I think he has a big hand... you're likely behind I think with 33 behind you either push or fold.

His line screams hit straight. I'd probably fold it unhappily... Post results sometime i'm interested.

I like it, and folding this turn is completely out of the question.

how is it out of the question? 23/2.7/3 thats not a player that gets out of line very much.... I just think against someone like that, He's more then likely behind at this point.

didnt you check the turn for the purpose of CRAI? villian is pretty tight so do you think QJ is in his range or do you think he has something like AQ or KQ here? the only thing i would be worried about is the fact that he seems pretty meek and passive villians don't usually take stabs at raised pots without a pretty good hand. you have position here so i dont know if a smooth call is too terrible here. if he fires big again on the river then i think you might have ran into two pair/set but if he checks it to you take him to value town. you still only have one pair.

i'm never folding aa here for a psb here the only thing im thinking about is how to get the rest in. c/r is fine i usually just put him, c/r may be better to tie him to the pot but i hate giving free cards when im trying to get money in the middle and he's not that aggressive.

dont fold.

CRAI = good. You're really only behind a set or QJ.

if you think you're ahead go ahead and CRAI. trust your read. the only qualms i have is i think villian only calls with a hand that beats us. is there anyway just calling the turn and throwing in a blocking/value bet on the river is ever +EV?

not felting with aces is something i've been working on so maybe i'm being a little timid in my analysis here so take me with a grain of salt.
