Default 200NL - Bottom set on flop, PLZ HELP.

Live 1/2 NL game at my local casino.

I've been sitting around an hour and won two big pots to bump my stack around $500. Most of the players at the table are brutal and there's no reason to believe that I am not the best player at the table.

The villain in this hand has been playing for about 25 minutes. He bought in for $200, lost it all after he pushed JJ in on a QQx flop and got two callers (both with Q's).

He rebought and his stack is currently around $250.

Anyway, I'm UTG and have 5 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 5 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. I raise it to $8 and get 6 callers, including our villain who is in the BB.

Flop comes 5 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 6 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 7 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]
SB checks, Villain bets $20, HERO... ???

Pot is now $68.
What do we do now??

4-bet seems logical, tell him you have trips and see what he does, theres too many draws out there for me to try and slowplay it along with way too many people, 4-bet then push turn would be my play

4-bet??

btw i think calling for a safe turn and popping it now both have merit.

You need to raise and try to get all in on the flop. If villain flopped a straight that sucks (though you still have some outs), but more often than not you're up against two pair or a draw.

Are we afraid of the flopped straight here?

Yeah thats what my mentality was as well thx orange. My opinion was to just push, and if he has the straight oh well, i think it makes up a small part of his range.
