Re: Venting about the grind

I decide to play some poker while enjoying my morning coffee, thinking I'm all clear headed and such. So I single table some 1/2 6-max and within <100 hands I forget stuff like "who raised preflop"...

Re: ATTENTION: This is a LIMIT Forum, not NL, and this is our NC Thre

Finally hit 10k hands in 6-max. As you can see I'm a very casual player so it certainly took me a while.

Some hot streaks bump BB/100 up quite a bit. I think I can be a small winner at these...

Re: AKs - Hand Review

Preflop, flop look good to me.

But when he leads the turn just call. He's shown tremendous strength and isn't slowing down. If you hit your flush on the river raise for sure, but if you don't,...

Can't get Poker Grapher to work for whatever reason, so I tried to finally figure out how to do graphs directly in PT.

Re: ATs - I confuse myself

I'm mostly debating between betting and check-raising the turn. Check-calling was pretty weak but hey, at least I didn't fold.

The thing is that I probably have the best hand there and there's no...

ATs - I confuse myself

I don't have a lot of hands on anyone. They all seem quite loose.

Preflop: I raise because I figure to have an edge against the field.

Flop: C-Bet will take this down never against this crowd,...

10NL - Pushing the nuts on the flop

I'm mainly a limit player, microlimits and mostly 6-max, but I occasionally play NL because it's a nice distraction, but I also try to take the game seriously because I find myself enjoying it and...

Re: T9s (preflop action)

I'm glad the hand inspired some discussion. Any comments about my idea of raising after the two limpers when it's my first turn to act? Or is that too stoopid to even talk about?...

I don't have great reads here, everyone looks to be loose and bad, with the exception of the button on who I had some TAGish stats over ~100 hands (but I don't remember anything special about him, no...

Re: KJs brutal pre-flop...

Yeah, it looks pretty bad. You're often dominated, and you're positioned between a limp-capper and 3-bettor, which will make the play after the flop quite tricky if you flop a mediocre-good hand like...

Re: A8s, pairs the 8 on a paired board

Turn raisers,

What if the turn was K/images/graemlins/heart.gif instead of K/images/graemlins/diamond.gif, giving me the nut flush draw? The problem would be that if I raise and he 3-bets, I can't...

Re: AT in MP with interesting flop action

Preflop: Standard raise for me.

Flop: I like the raise, and calling BB's 3-bet. MP2's surprise cap pretty much says you're toast but I think you've gotta call.

Turn: You pick up a gutshot and...
