Somebody correct me here, but I cant think you do this type of isolate raise because you want to pick up the pot with a cbet on the flop ?

I do it against passive players (usualy I like those to be above 40% vpip though) because you can outplay them after the flop & because you have position.

If you hit you can value bet, knowing he will call you down often with bottom pair. If you dont hit, you bet flop, check turn for free card, and bet Turn/River if you hit. Its so nice against passives because they wont bet you, or attempt fancy plays, you pretty much do with em what you want [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

Sooo anyways, against this 20% vpip thats limping in utg, I think our QT is often pwned, and for that reason its prolly not the best time to isolate raise.
