Re: $6.5 - AKs vs 14x BB raise

I'd probably just call and try to get it in on an A/K/FD flop. I agree that I hate coin flips early on against smaller pairs, so I'd use my position here to see a flop and see what he does.

Re: NL25 43s turns two pair and gets (too much?) action?

I'd fold to his reraise. Looks like he might have been going for a C/R with a set or 2 pair on the flop (or he hit a gutshot on the turn).

Re: $16 First Hand AK facing 2 All Ins On Flop

Fold. I can't imagine that I am ahead of both opponents.

Re: Big Pots = Big Leaks at 10NL... Help!

hand 5 and 6 look like huge spews. Your calling raises too lightly

I agree with this. There are some things that could be done on the other hands, but 5 and 6 seem easy...

Re: NL10 - overpair, overcard/nut flush draw

Hand #1 looks fine. I'd bet more on the flop if villian had a larger stack. With only $3.5 behind, 1.50 on the flop seems fine.

Hand #2 - once he pushes I'd definitely call, especially with your...

Re: 99 against UTG raise $4.40

Yes, against his calling range you would have significantly lower equity.

For instance, if he called with 99+, AJs+, KQs, AKo you'd have only 35%, not 46% equity.

equity win tie pots won pots...

Re: My Neighbors have Stolen my Cat.

Re: FTP 50/50: Flopped set on UGH river

[ QUOTE ]
so youre saying pushing the turn is now right, but youre STILL advocating a tiny bet on the flop so you wont be able to shove the turn without it being a big overbet?

Re: NL25 - Turned set! .. But wait...

Villian is 43/4. Should I call this near-potsized bet on the river? Will I be up against a lone ace most of the time? Or a 7 with higher kicker?

[/ QUOTE ]

Or how about even...

I remember reading in Super System and hearing on WPT that 22 is a slight favorite on AK?

Re: $6.50 Bubble Call?

I'd Call. Your certainly ahead of smaller pairs and things like Axs and possibly flipping against two high cards. With only 4BB, you have to pick a spot. I'd prefer to be first in, but I'll take...

Re: KK did I make the right move?

Unlucky. A shove would be more typical I think, but I understand why you bet less (rope them in). The drawback of trying to draw them in preflop is sometimes you get out-flopped, as here. I would...

Play tight early on. Pushbot later. Hold better cards.

Re: First hand at a new table, can I call this reraise allin?

With no reads I'd fold. It looks like villian disconnected and reconnected a couple time during the hand. Sometimes when this happens, it puts villian in a double-up-or-go-home mode, so could have...

Re: $6.50 - Shoving over blinds w/ limpers in late levels (2 hands)

I don't like hand #1. Usually an UTG limper has a much stronger hand than a CO/BTN limper. As such, of the two, I think hand #2 would be a better spot to push.

Re: $6.5 Call with 85o getting 3:1 on bubble but calling = me short st

It's close, but I'd call. You have reasonable odds. If you fold and give the pot to the small stack, you become the small stack since he will have 1795 and you will have 1690. If you win this...

Re: $6.50. Bet this flop??

If you check the flop, you must bet the turn. If an 8 or 9 hits on the river, someone may have made a straight. Make them pay for a card. Sometimes no one has anything and you won't get money out...

Re: KK vs. BeL0WaB0Ve

I could image something like T9s w/ flush draw. I'd reraise to 800 and put the last 500 in on the turn. Or you could just put him all in immediately.

Re: 6.50 66 tough spot

I think part of this depends on the read of the table (and how many pots you have been involved in recently). If everyone has been playing fairly tight (and I haven't played any hands recently), I'd...
