Default $6.5 Stars BB flop TPNK

I'm always at a bit of a loss as to what to do in these situations: I flop Top Pair no Kicker from the big blind in a multiway pot, and don't really want to commit any chips to it. Was this play alright?

I'd value bet the river. A bare 8 or 4 might call.

Everything thing else looks fine to me.

I would check the flop as well and see what action occurs. Looks good.

As I'm getting better at hand reading, I'd probably make a river bet here of 100.

Did MP3 flip over two diamonds?

No, A8
Hands he could have here are QJs, Kdxd, Adxd, A8, A4, connected diamonds, and maybe 77 or 99. So I guess I am beating most of his range, and a river value bet would have been correct.

And I'm a winner.

Edit: Oh and you obviously would fold to a river check/raise.

I was thinking A8 too, but I was in a hurry to go outside and didn't want to go through all the possibilities. I think you'll see diamonds and A8 there often.
