cashout check
PartyPoker recently informed me that I had a small amount of money left in my account. As requested, they promptly sent me a check for this amount of money--that was the only option for getting it.

Re: Khan\'s last hand
I would guess both of Hevad's moves, not shoving all-in and moving all-in in the dark were just designed to get Jerry off balance. He was going either way but I think he thought maybe he could get...

Re: Hero Calls...should we \'hero raise\'
lol, no I read your latest reply after answering your initial question. I liked the reply and plan to maybe add some of this type of river play.
One thing I was thinking about in your reply...

Re: Hero Calls...should we \'hero raise\'
I know I'm changing the parameters a bit, but if you think the oppoent is on a hand that he can be chased from, wouldn't betting the turn be a better (at least more economical) way to get him off of...

Re: Let\'s Play Something Else...
I think double flop adds some action without bastardizing the game too much. No wild cards.
I also like hi/lo games for action. I don't like wild card games as much. Our tourneys are pretty...

Re: $10 - fold overpair?
Definitely a tough one. I suppose you just called preflop in the hopes of hitting a set. Makes perfect sense. Problem of course is that you now have very little information.
One thing I've found...

Re: Venetian $330 Tough river decision.
So now that I understand the full magnitude of the problem, I think I call this bet. Of course it's a lot easier to say here at work than in the pressure of a tourney but I'm hoping he has A-x...

Re: Venetian $330 Tough river decision.
Actually, I went back and looked at it. I thought the flop was three queens, that changes everything.
When you said villian could have AK, I was thinking--Yes. So I reviewed and saw that my eyes...

Re: Venetian $330 Tough river decision.
Maybe I'm conservative but I wouldn't have bet the river after that ace came off. Too many better hands at that point that the villian could have or could represent.
Just my two cents.
I have...

Re: Isn\'t this an obvious NL tell?
As others have said, good luck with that. If I have AQ and flop comes Q and two lower cards I could bet anywhere from the pot to half-pot. In these spots a re-raise likely would scare me less than a...

Re: How to Survive Idiots
I see what you're saying but one point that I'd make is that you underbet the ace to lure him in. You questioned why he moved and he said, because I had an ace. In fact, he did exactly what you...

Re: Theoretical final table tourney question....
I think i would re-raise all-in preflop. I know what's been said about the small stack, but QQ should be ahead of both of these players.
Even if big stack eliminates us both, I would still get...

Re: B&M Cliches
This is a classic thread.
I did have a good response to the rather cliche' "I can't believe you kept calling me," by the player who just had his bluff defeated.
I said, "It's not a play I'd...

Re: Trickier Sit N Go Question
It's important to get something out of these SNG's so I could see folding. Still, if moving all-in is enough to force out the SB, then you're forcing the BB into action. My play is raising all-in.
