Re: 2 Venetian $330 DS Hands
In hindsight, I probably like a flop c/r better in hand 1. How bad is this line?
I check, Villain thinks and bets 600. I call.
Turn is an offsuit Q.
I check, Villain leads for another 600...

Re: 2 Venetian $330 DS Hands
Accidentally posted without 2nd hand.
Blinds are 150/300. I have 9k, without showing down a single hand. Player two to my left just busted and a big stack with 30k just moved in. He limp...

2 Venetian $330 DS Hands
Starting stacks of 6k. I have literally not played more than one hand besides my blinds due to unplayable hands. I raised once and showed AKo when table folded around. Button has been very...

Binions Classic
24 players remain. I have ~72k, after doubling the short stack at our table with 44 v. AA five hands earlier. Average stack is a little over 110k. Player directly to my right came to table short...

Re: Pretty simple Venetian 1k hand.
I like the logic, curious how this worked b/c I almost always read the leaving one big chip behind as a bet of weakness. That said, if weak players read this as strength, I need to incorporate this...

Re: Satellite hand, down to the end
My first reaction upon reading was that you're ahead. Despite that, I don't think it's worth a call because of your current chip stack. It doesn't seem to be worth the risk, especially if you can...

Re: TPNK. 6 way action (109)
I think it's a call, but marginally so. I think pocket pairs should at least be considered as a minor part of his range, maybe 22-88, along with suited connectors similar to yours and maybe suited...

Re: Stars $109, 9Ts from Annette_15\'s HH
I like it, frequently takes down the pot right there unless opponent has an ace. I think she doesn't get looked up often by jacks and smaller pairs fold. Plus, it's not like she doesn't have outs...

Re: $100 live tourney
Tournaments are in Pittsburgh, which I'm thinking is a little far for you to travel from Texas.

$100 live tourney
Nine-handed, sitting on 3500 chips which is around the average. Blinds 75/150.
Two folds.
I see AKo, raise to 450.
Folds to button, tightest player at the table with similar stack, who raises to...

Re: A/Q^3
I'm aware of the odds in hand 1, but doesn't the mini-raise preflop just scream of a big hand? I mean either AK or TT-AA, not a single one of which I can beat...

Considering this, you prefer a fold in hand 2 then?

A/Q^3
$100 live tourney, had three hands with A/Q that I ended up unhappy with, both play and results. Thoughts?
1. Blinds 50/100, Whole table is btw 8-12k. Limp UTG with A/Qo, 3 calls, button raises...

Re: 3 Blind Mice
With Hand #1, is it so bad to turn down what I can guarantee is a coinflip with 20bb still? This play isn't common for me, since I'm usually a let's put it in and race type, but I felt like the...

Re: Early DS hand
I agree with betting more typically, but I thought the repeated 120 amount would look weaker and entice a raise.

Re: Big pot brewing... deep wpt hand.
Suited Aces, maybe ATo, AJo? 66 and 88 are obv possibilities as well. Turn c-r seems to indicate significant strength, along with betting more than half his stack, suggesting his commitment to this...
