Re: kinda akward turn .5/1nl aa in 3b pot

Raise a little more preflop to about 12 or 13. The flop looks fine. I would probably bet the turn again and fold to a reraise. As played, its difficult but considering he hasnt played back at you too...

Re: Stud beginner hand

this is a clear fold, AK9 off suit in a trash hand especially in a multiway pot. AKT can sometimes be playable in the right situation but AK9 shouldnt be limped on 3rd unless its a blind stealing...

Re: AKs pick up fd facing bet...

I think you have to get it all in on the flop. I would get all the money in the middle 99% of time on the flop.

Re: 50nl: AA

Insta-call!!! Looks more like a pair and a draw. Even if he does have you, u still got some outs.

Re: Question reguarding bankroll

Also, 100 buy ins is way too excessive especially for .05/.10. I think 25 buy ins is more than enough for that level.

Re: Question reguarding bankroll

Sngs seem to be the best way to build your bankroll in the very beginning IMO

Re: $25NL - 6 Max - KK facing all in on flop

Well your preflop 4 bet is wayyyyyyyyyy to small. Need to make it at least $5 or $6. As played, your goin with the hand so put all your money in!

Re: crazy 8\'s

#1 you could check/call to induce a bluff or just bet out to chase the draws away.
#2 I think you played it well except u might be able to fold on the flop.

Re: A-10s 2 pair on bad flop

I would generally go with the hand in a heads up situation.

Re: KK vs cold caller river shove

I dont like the turn check one bit. If for some reason he has AK here he gets a free card, but looks like he has an overpair as well. Shove the turn!

Re: 2/4: Sick drawing hand but 2 all-ins in front of me!??!!?!

well the 9 will almost never be live, but i still think its worth gambling it up in this situation

Re: 400NL, TPTK facing all in

I dont think he would run a squeeze play from a utg raise and he was also pretty tight after just 50 hands. I think that im losing more times than winning there. He didnt seem worried by my call...

400NL, TPTK facing all in

The villian is a 17/13/2 after about 50 hands so I dont really know too much about him. I have been playin like a 24/18. I called on the turn with the intent of going with it if he showed weakness. ...

Re: There\'s no way to fold 7th here, is there? (stud h/l)

no i dont think you can fold because he could have hit his low draw on the river and you are priced in to call here. I wouldnt be worried about seat 4 at all. I think you have to just make a crying...

Re: Should I raise him again?

I would definitely raise and risk a 3 bet. Seems like he could of had a 2 pair and rivered a boat possibly. If he did that is just unlucky. He could have also rivered a straight and bet out thinking...

Re: NL400 - KK overpair facing aggression (200BB deep)

its tough, i might call and reevaluate the river. If he shoves the river I think you can easily fold knowing your beat to a river shove.

Re: 100NL TPGK: facing likely 2pair

Hmm, his river bet is so small compared to the pot size. I think you have to call not only because hes a donk but u are basically priced in here. I dont like it, but the call needs to be made.

Re: $5NL 6-Max, QQ delayed 2nd barrel on Ace-high river

I think you played it fine. I really like the check on the turn. Good river value bet.

Re: 100NL 88 Against Lagtard

You could make a continuation bet and then just shut down if he calls. Also, you could check call the flop, and then folding if he makes another bet on the turn. I dont really like check raising in...

Re: Butchered AK.

I will almost always 3 bet with AK preflop. I dont agree with cold calling with AK especially in terrible position. You have to 3 bet to get it Heads up at least. As played, the check raise on the...

Re: 2 pair, what now?

I dont like your preflop raise outta position with such a weak hand, but as played you could call for a c/r on turn or just 3 bet to $250 and of course you call his 4bet.

Re: 2/4 stud hi/lo hand...Thoughts on an advanced play

I understand folding on 3rd because 2 clubs were gone. But on 4th I check raised because im pretty sure all of these players call a single raise besides the first person that folded to a single raise...

Re: 2/4 stud hi/lo hand...Thoughts on an advanced play

I use to fold there, but after reading up on some stud material I have come across some points that you should maybe raise there on 3rd. Although I cant see folding on 3rd being a bad play either. I...

2/4 stud hi/lo hand...Thoughts on an advanced play

The table is been seemingly tight early on and I thought this was a good time to raise on 4th so that I could be a favorite for the high hand and be representing the low at the same time if i got it...
