I was just thinking about this hand, and now I think I should have raised pre-flop to $3, fold to re-raise, and push if checked to on the flop.

I don't play NL very much, just read GSIH and am messing around with SS which is around 20BB or $10 in $50NL.

I figured I was either going to raise to $3 or call. I decided not to...

To everyone... yes I am excited, I was just talking to my dad about where we are going to stay, and I wasn't sure where we should. How long ahead of time should be enough to get a room at the place...

So far it sounds like getting a decentely priced place on the strip is the way to go. Also after Photoc's post it looks like 2-4 thru 4-8 is where I will be at, maybe some low buy-in tourney.
