Re: Stopping Deion Sanders
With no blocker I would say 6 people would push it just over 50%
With a blocker 8 |

Re: Stopping Deion Sanders
People saying number 15-20 is ridiculous... the ability to mob him and influence a trip is way to large. With 20 people he would score < 1%

Re: Stopping Deion Sanders
No trips allowed, right?
I'm assuming everyone must adhere to NFL rules, and everyone is in pads. With a blocker, Deion in his prime has a < 50-50 chance of a touchdown vs. ELEVEN average thirty year old males. (and greater than 50% vs. ten) Deion was not only fast and quick, but I think many of you are way underestimating just how effective running behind a blocker can be, and upon contact, how mismatched a normal 30 year old would be against Mr. Sanders. Timing would be extremely important... Stopping Deion would usually mean more than one guy (at the same time) wrapping him up or putting a good hit on him. The answer is ELEVEN. |

J [/ QUOTE ] Influence a trip, as in him tripping, not getting tripped by someones foot. i.e. someone diving and catching his leg causing him to fall... nt though. I was just pointing out you do not need to have a good form tackle to make someone fall down if there are enough people. One on One is an entirely different story. |
