Re: Preflop raising with JJ, TT, 99

Yea I think the problem really is my postflop play with these guys when I get raised out of my continuation bet. As to the response that said I should raise this preflop so when I set up I will have...

Re: JJ overpair multiway gets minraised NL50

It depends, push unless you can definitely narrow him down to a set. Otherwise you have to figure that if you call him the rest of his money is going in the middle after the turn card whatever it is...

Re: Preflop raising with JJ, TT, 99

so its always a raise for you guys? Or is this more of a situational raise? Are your percentages higher than mine? Is it an anomaly that the 99's which I raise less make me more money? Or is that a...

Preflop raising with JJ, TT, 99

When/if to raise with these cards has always been a matter of question for me. I used to raise with these cards more often then not but they were two of my biggest losers (JJ & TT).

Lately I've...

AKo ... released too early?

Villian was LAG w/ 44%/22%/2.75

I'm thinking I may have released this one too early but these are the situations where I lose a lot of money to sets and two pairs and crap like that. Not sure...

Re: Flush Draw on board, TP TK w/ draw $50 NL

I guess I didn't see him calling me PF with a 2 in his hand so I guessed J-5 or maybe a set but w/ that agression factor I was at a loss, the nut flush draw also is what pulled me back into this...

Re: 50NL; KT turns nut straight; river pairs board - he\'s all-in

well with your raise you would like to think that he didn't have the odds to chase the flush unless of course he had As-Qs. But you would assume a raise with that hand. This is definitely a tough...

Flush Draw on board, TP TK w/ draw $50 NL

I'm curious if I how I played this was legitimate or not.

Flush Draw on board, TP TK w/ draw $50 NL

I'm curious if I how I played this was legitimate or not. I didn't bet too big on the flop because I had been making numerous continuation bets at about the same amount so I was trying to get some...

Re: AK top pair, raised on turn, i have to be beat here?

Well my read on this one is a weak ace they may have hit the 2 pair. Probably not worth a call though. Almost 3:1 isn't bad but I just don't see you beating a raiser with the weird way hes played...

Re: Did I play this very badly?

You guys are suggesting the shove over the raise because of tptk w/ the nut flush draw" If I didn't have the draw is this still a shove situation? What about if I didn't it tptk.. and it was AKs to...

Re: NL10 help me with my line

Hmm.. I don't think you necessarily played it bad. If you've been c-betting about 50 cents then to do it again with this flop seems legitamate to get some action and it may actually have kept him...

Did I play this very badly?

Well this guy had been raising almost every other hand so I decided to min raise him and see if he'd come back over or try to push me out when I had this hand. It isn't my normal style but didn't...

Re: Keep calling or drawing to 4 outs only? (25NL)

Yea I should have led out on the turn to get some more info. If I would have felt the raise there i would have let it go. The flush scared me due to that mini [censored] raise on the flop.

I would consider letting this go preflop. Unless you have notes otherwise hes probably not getting fancy here and has you crushed.

Re: NL 10 Anyone play this KK dif?

I would have definitely thought about betting the turn, as your conceding to the fact that you have either 4 spades or an unmade hand (read no ace). But I can't say this was played terribly.

Suck...

Re: Where did I go wrong on this hand? (10c/25c NL)

Are you saying you'd raise all in if you had the AA or because of my betting pattern?

Also, my thought is this, If he does have an over pair with a heart, does a 3/4 pot bet scare your avg guy...

Re: Where did I go wrong on this hand? (10c/25c NL)

Thanks guys, its starting to come together.. The preflop raise was too weak .. I was trying to entice other people in but that was a bad idea considering the odds he would be getting even with one...

Re: Where did I go wrong on this hand? (10c/25c NL)

Hmm.. my flop bet felt like a probe bet (to see if he had the overpair) but at the same time it felt like a semi-bluff to me, which in that case may have been too small.

As far as putting him on...
