Default Re: Preflop raising with JJ, TT, 99

Yea I think the problem really is my postflop play with these guys when I get raised out of my continuation bet. As to the response that said I should raise this preflop so when I set up I will have a bigger pot to take down, is that a profitable move? Raise hoping that one of two cards will come so I can take a pot? Seems like a losing play to me but I really am not positive as overcards and no JJ is a kill.

I play on FT and PS mainly at $25NL. I think me playing these hands so conservatively is costing me money from all of your responses. I think I need to learn to temper down my aggression when I hit friction on my c-bet when I don't hit my set or I see over cards.

A question to those of you who do 3-bet this and get called, Do you give up when an A, or K comes and your c-bet gets called / raised?
