Default AKo ... released too early?

Villian was LAG w/ 44%/22%/2.75

I'm thinking I may have released this one too early but these are the situations where I lose a lot of money to sets and two pairs and crap like that. Not sure which way I should have went. Any suggestions?

Yeah, I know what you mean about losing $s in situations likethis, it happens to me all to frequently. The flop c/r could have been some kind of bluff (I find that flop c/r are more likely to be bluffs... people usually wait till the turn to pull this when they are really strong), but he follows through on the turn.

Since your hand is fairly well defined as being AK / AQ I think you have to fold as your only beating a bluff. I think he has like A9 for 2 pair or a set. Good fold.

you might consider reraising him on the flop. and fold if he pushes. thats what i would do. i really dunno about the turn if he calls tho

I hate 3betting flop.

Played well.

3betting the flop is spew. If this flop were a different texture with some draws, you MIGHT have a case. As-is you really can't be ahead of his range, so good fold.
