Re: iWitness v2

Hi

Neat program, works fine for all games I have tried except Pot Limit Omaha, where it just fails to load any tables. (Works for limit HE, Stud Hi-Lo, etc).

Any ideas?

Thanks.

Re: PLO 200 Flopped top set, straight on board, what to do???

Second point, while you gain $119 when UTG and button fold, if that is 1-in-3 times – that maybe generous – then there are several other scenarios that are poor for you.

Re: PLO 200 Flopped top set, straight on board, what to do???

OK, I confess, I'm at more of a loss now than when I read the original post. You are saying 90% of the time that trip As is the best hand. (Is it possible you could say how you get this figure or is...

Re: PLO 200 Flopped top set, straight on board, what to do???

Sims - I am not going to repeat all the possible combos that could occur, as I don’t know how to assign a probability to each scenario occurring.

Silent A, you say that nothing UTG has can reduce...

Re: PLO 200 Flopped top set, straight on board, what to do???

Roundtower, happy to be dissed for complete garbage. Readers learn by (a) reading what the better posters say, and (b) from their own mistakes. However, if you can't be bothered to explain why what I...

Re: PLO 200 Flopped top set, straight on board, what to do???

Unfortunately it is very bad, because you are stacking off without the nuts. You cannot rely on a read here because there is no reason to suppose the button *does not* have the nuts.
If you want...

Re: Thoughts on this hand

One of the things I've come to appreciate about this forum is that consensus is about as likely as a Bush-led Israeli peace settlement. Long may it remain so - the forum, that is, not the war.

Re: Thoughts on this hand

Yes, very nice post. I like the thought process here. It is the thoughts about image that I find most interesting and perhaps most debatable.
I think it depends on how many players are necessarily...

Re: Thoughts on this hand

I think it's a bit thin. I don't know why you make the PF call as I can't really see what you are hoping to flop.
On flop you have weak flush draw/straight draw where only 3 sevens give you the...

Re: Is my hand as strong as I think it is?

Short-handed ish, this is def. a raise anywhere. Don't worry about the 3.

You've shown strength PF, I think a raise on the flop here is fine. If they call with just a straight draw, you are a...

Re: new to omaha, please berate my play

Use twodimes or such to check yr equity on all these hands.

Hand 1.

You have 13 outs, you are a dog to top set random sidecards, but with the random all-in you may make some money. It's not...

Re: Two hands, one bad, one impressive

Hand 1. Were you tempted to raise PF?
Once you have CR'd him on the flop, your whole stack is in play. Why risk it with the second nuts?

Better to lead out - you then get to find out where you...

Re: Lets talk about positon in PLO

If you flat call Daniel's CR, would you bet the river board pair, repping the FH?

Re: Lets talk about positon in PLO

I found Daniel's hand interesting. (Sorry if this is a bit at a tangent to the thread.) I don't know if I agree with all Daniel's analysis.

Bloom's play depends in part on whether Bloom thinks it...

Re: Sklansky article on PLO in 2+2 internet magazine

It's not clear - at least to me - that Rolf actually advises repotting in the case of the Sklansky hand. Perhaps he could clarify that.

Re: \"Blushed\" turn, fire again river?

KhXh is a likely hand - but will villain lay it down - especially with hero raising the turn? He just thinks, if he has Kxh, oh great, villain has a flush on turn, I'm winning, and on the river he...

Re: \"Blushed\" turn, fire again river?

At these levels, I find that your fold equity is near zero - try the bluff raise on the turn if you like, but I'd give up after that. These players often won't lay down top pair to a raise, let alone...

Re: 5/10 Donkish, or fine?

In UCF's post there don't seem to be any limpers and his rr knocks out the blinds so that's good. But what I was noting more generally was that at up to 1/2 from what I have seen - your experience...

Re: What\'s my play?

You're in good shape vs. nut flush draw and top two with a random T and random sidecard: -
41.52% | 34.08% | 24.4%

You're in less good shape if top two has JT as sidecards but still well...

Re: 5/10 Donkish, or fine?

If the stacks were deeper, how would a min-reraise isolate? Most times at lower levels, whenever I see a min-reraise it has anything from very little to no effect. Players just call regardless - I...
