I don't played a lot of NL cash, please let me know if I should have played this differently.

The game is $200 min $600 max with blinds of $3/$5 at Potowatami in Milwuakee. I start the hand with...

Re: Stuff that you CANT find out from Nutrition Labels

Milk isn't a good source of Calcium, because you need Magnesium for your body to process it. Milk is Magnesium free.

Re: Plastic cards question

Spend the exta $7 and get the KEMs. They last a lot longer than Copags or Dal Negros. Copags fade really quickly while KEMs don't really fade or get worn at all. I used to be into Copags, they're...

Re: Derby Picks

I loooove Street Sense in this race. I agree that he'll probably be the chalk by post time. He's got the highest Beyer Speed in the field (108). Which was ran at Churchill Downs to win the Breeder's...

[ QUOTE ]
Good stuff... One thing I'm doing differently than you is I have all of my different "stores" as sections under the same premium account, so I'm not paying the extra money. The upside is...

Re: T-shirt website

Yeah, CafePress is awesome. You pretty much just upload your designs and you're good to go. You'll probably need to get a premium shop for about $6 a month if you want more than one design. Now that...

Potowatami - weekday mornings?

How is the action on Monday through Friday at Potowatami in Milwuakee? If I got there around 9:30 a.m. are there seats open and what limits are being spread? Also is there any Omaha action? Are there...

Re: Overvaluing AK?

I would have bet out on the flop. I think you tried to get too fancy with two pair by waiting for the check raise on the turn. If he raises you call. Then if there's not a scare card on the turn I...

Re: Copags fading?

Yeah, I have had a few sets up Copags in the past, they all faded at some point. Not sure if its the matte finish or what. Next time I'll probably just pay the extra cash and get the KEMs. They seem...

Re: Live HU 10$ How do I stop this passive/aggressor?

I play a lot of live Heads Up matches against a friend too. Here's what I think.

Raising 9 out of 10 hands preflop is way too many IMO. And betting the pot "on almost every flop" is also way too...

Re: Besides posting blinds for late shows do we deal cards to their seat?

If a player is late, he should still get a hand. If he isn't dealt a hand it should be considered a misdeal.

If a player leaves to go to the bathroom he should still be dealt cards. Unless the...

Re: WSOP ME Bubble hand

I think I would lay this hand down.

If you are going to check raise, you'll need to put in at least 25k. If he has anything he's pushing. I'd hate to be in for 70k on a 7 high flush draw.

I...

Re: midwest cardrooms, help needed (iowa, nebraska, illinois)

Majestic Star and Resorts Casino are both about 10 minutes north of I-80 in Gary, Indiana. Its right before you get to Illinois. I haven't played at either in a while, but you should be able to find...

Re: Advice for hosting \"Horse\" tourn or cash game

We used to run a HOSE tournament after our weekly Hold'em Tournament. It was a lot of fun. Hold'em, Omaha High, 7 Stud and Omaha Hi-Lo (Eight or Better). No Razz, most people aren't familiar enough...

Re: Future Chicago-area casino/resort?

Even if they did get a casino built there, who cares, its in the middle of nowhere. And its 30 minutes from Aurora. What we need is a casino in Rosemont or Waukegan. Screw Hoffman Estates. Personally...

Re: A-Qo Near the Bubble

I folded. I had two big stack behind me. That, and everyone was pushing all-in on every hand. Should I have just pushed? I wanted to get into the money though. Is this a -EV way to play this?

A-Qo Near the Bubble

50 person MTT on Party. 9 players left, 7 places pay. I have about 9k. Chip leaders have 20k and 30k. Four others have around 5k. And two others have 3k or under. The blinds are 600-1200.

I get...

Re: Who will be the next Cub to cross home plate?

The Cubs will lose 100 games this year. Jim Hendry made a few nice trades early on in his career, but after that, the guy sucks. Dusty Baker is one of the worst managers in the game.

Go White...

Re: Did I play this ok?

I'm not sure how it got to 1200. But I just remember thats what it was. I think there were a lot of limpers that folded plus the blinds. Maybe he raised more preflop.

I did call really really...

Did I play this ok?

$11 Speed SnG on Party. Second level of blinds (30-60 I think), nine players left. Villian is co-chip leader with me, both of us have 3500. Most everyone else is around 1800.

I limp with 88 UTG....

Greatest Comeback Ever (long)

I've been playing in poker tournaments for about seven years and this is the best comeback that I can remember, especially this late in the game. And its definitely the best that I have ever had.
