Didn't find any details in the last half-year in HP, so...
We only have 3 players so far, but in case the HORSE single-table tourney gets enough players at our upcoming tourney night to actually be spread... What are some good structures for HORSE, so I can tweak what I"m setting up? I'd like details on how you handle stud vs. board rounds, the length of rounds, and if you ever deal with having more than 8 players (feeling optimistic) Or, if you have details on online HORSE structures that you like... Thanks- I'll take anything I can get. LL |

BTW, I know I could hit the sites myself and cruise around, but:
1) I'm trying to avoid new spam, since I don't play online yet. 2) I'd prefer to have structures you think are GOOD, as opposed to random structures that I could stumble across. |

I would suggest that you just incorporate a tourney structure by combining the different games by level. Here is one example from FTP: http://www.fulltiltpoker.com/tourStructMultiHold.php
As far as spam, there really is none from the poker sites. They respect the opt out rules. |

We used 12 minute levels (H is a level, O is a level....), 25K in chips, and the following structure:
http://www.worldseriesofpoker.com/st...t/Event20.html We didn't start losing people till the fourth round of HORSE, and it was all over early into the fifth HORSE since the two remaining players agreed to split, as opposed to duking it out for another hour. You may want to bring it down to 10 or 15K in chips for a single table (and let us know how that works for you). |

This STT for HORSE never went off- some players bailed into the bigger tourney last minute.
Here's what I came up with though: Start stack $T5,000 <font color="white">---------</font> Betting limits Holdem<font color="white">-----</font> T50/100 <font color="white">---------</font>blinds 25/50 Omaha/8<font color="white">-----</font> T75/150<font color="white">-----</font> blinds 25/75 Razz<font color="white">-----</font> T100/200/ante25<font color="white">-----</font> Bring in25 Stud high <font color="white">-----</font> T150/300/a25<font color="white">-----</font> B50 Eight or better stud<font color="white">-----</font> T200/400/a50<font color="white">-----</font> B100 Holdem<font color="white">-----</font> T300/600/a75<font color="white">-----</font> blinds 150/300 <font color="white">-----</font> color up greens Omaha/8<font color="white">-----</font> T400/800/a100 <font color="white">-----</font> blinds 200/400 Razz<font color="white">-----</font> T500/1000/a100<font color="white">-----</font> B200 Stud high <font color="white">-----</font> T600/1200/a100<font color="white">-----</font> B300 Eight or better stud<font color="white">-----</font> T800/1600/a100<font color="white">-----</font> B300 Holdem<font color="white">-----</font> T1000/2000/a200<font color="white">-----</font> blinds 500/1000 Omaha/8<font color="white">-----</font> T1000/2000/a500<font color="white">-----</font> blinds 500/1000 The antes were limited somewhat, because at the last tourney some players were whining about having to deal with multiple chip antes and the time it cost each round. Rounds would be: 1-2 circuits for each game type, when 6+ players 2-3 circuits when 4-5 players 3 or more? circuits when 3 or less. Blinds/antes go up when the game being played changes. Criticisms welcome- just keep in mind a 4 1/2 hour duration goal. |
