The new Hard Rock Poker room does not have a time drop, it is a 10%, $5 max rake.

[/ QUOTE ]

Do they have a Bad Beat drop? What games do they spread? Thanks.

Re: Biloxi Beau Rivage & IP Time Charge Question

WTF? There is a jackpot drop in addition to time? Is this just Harrahs in NO, or the IP and Beau in Biloxi too?

Re: Biloxi Beau Rivage & IP Time Charge Question

$6/per half hour is absurd for 1/2. I live 15 minutes from the Beau and haven't played once. I used to play 40-60 hours/month at the Grand Biloxi when they had a $3 max rake. I won't pay more.

Just for the Louisiana and Mississippi guys here. Who thinks that you have any legal problems whatsoever if you give the guy a beatdown and just scoop the $1200?

I think if nothing else (being a regular at Harrah's) I've learned one thing here. Someone pushes, ask for a count to get the chips in the middle.

I agree with you, but...

Re: 425bb deep TPTK against craziest player I\'ve ever played against

Is there no chance he was advertising previously? I mean on the Q6 hand, only a set or flush could call him. How often did he push preflop? What range do you put him on?

Re: Super crazy ultra turbo FT satellites

This post depressed me. I always think logic (and market forces) will override and the SNG rake will drop off. But if people are willing to play this game, all hope is lost.

Re: What do you do when you need to drop to a lower game but can\'t?

Build back your bankroll at lower stakes, sell part of your action, or get staked. Do not play higher than you can afford just because you are good enough, variance is a bitch.

- 4 way action means I don't take down the pot that often.
- I am either way ahead or way behind, so free cards don't scare me that much.
- I can't bet big and any...

Re: Would a shorstack boycott on PS work?

Isn't that collusion? All the regs would be playing for their combined self interest instead of their own.
