getting turn action => fold giving away a lot of possible deadly freecards? |

I didn't bet the turn because:
- 4 way action means I don't take down the pot that often. - I am either way ahead or way behind, so free cards don't scare me that much. - I can't bet big and any crappy King or heart draw will call any small bet. - I might induce a river bluff. |

On the turn you are not WA/WB, there's tons of draws out. however, I still prefer to check for pot control reasons. There's not a whole lot of worse hands calling and you will induce river bluffs from busted draws.
