I think the picture in the first response sums it up!
First off, this type of post has no business here. If your looking to debate the legality of what you are proposing, do so in the form of a...

First instinct is flop CR, turn bet, river CR, depending on turn/river cards of course. A decent alternative is check/call checkraise.

Re: Can you get away from this?
I'm calling down every situation with the 45/20 guy. Against the tighter player, I would call down 1b, 2a & 2b regardless of the turn and river cards and only fold 1a if the turn and river brought...

Why not raise the flop?

Re: Messy 99, 5/10
In this situation, I would chk/call all the way unless you improve. It is entirely reasonable that he hit a J or T on the flop so you don't want to raise him and be forced to fold to a three bet. ...

I think that the correct line here is to 3 bet the flop, bet the turn and value bet the river. If turn is raised just call and call river bet unless flush is made. So many guys will overplay any...

Perhaps this is overly passive, but have you considered chk-calling the turn? Then if he checks the turn, bet out on the river...
Why would you want to bet into this turn? Is there value in that?
