Re: AKo 2/4

Preflop is fine. I don't like the flop bet, i think checking and see what developes and then calling unless its 2bets back to you and then i fold. I think a check/fold line is best for turn but it is...

Re: AKo 2/4 check flop??

This is the easy c-bet.There is 9.5SB in the pot you only have to take this down 10% of the time to be profitable as a pure bluff. You also have 2 overs and gutshot.
Your turn call is fine with...

Re: Q8 rivers top pair in orphan pot

If you want a good win rate at SSHE value betting the river is crucial. Your opponents could easily have a 7,9 or a small pocket pair and call you bet.The turn bluff would be spew as well, all three...

Re: TT and getting donk bet with one overcard

How frequently the villain defends his BB would be a major factor in the hand. The turn is a terrible card for you because the villain will have Ax alot here. However he could have a worse pair than...

Re: TPTK heavy action on turn.

I don't like raising the flop either. I should have folded the turn without a read especially when most players are passive at this level.

Re: I don\'t know when to fold

Your are way to general. Your 1st question is too vague, so much depends what your position is, what action has taken on the flop, your pot odds ect. You probably need to read sshe.

Re: TPTK and weak draw facing a turn raise

With the CO being this passive your alost definately beat. He probably got something like AJ,KQ,66. I'd just call down after the turn raise. I think i could fold this on the river at a higher...

So I'm not counting the backdoor flush draw as outs?

[/ QUOTE ]
Your "backdoor" flush draw counts as about 1.5 out and gutshot as 4. Read the counting outs section in sshe and this...

Btw I'm not necessarilty advocating smooth calling as opposed to raising. there are advantages and disadvantages to each play. I was just was wondering what your logic was behind raising...

what is your logic behind raising the flop?

[/ QUOTE ]
I usually fold on the flop in this situation but it seems weak to give up so easily in a raised pot. It does feel like the...

KK against overcard. Is this spew?

Been sitting with villain for about 6/7 orbits. Seem to limp to much but doesn't have loose raising standards. Don't have any stats on him.

Re: been in Poland - now im back, dusty and rusty

I don't like the flop bet here. Its a little different from hand quiz because there is a FD and an Ace, in the hand quiz the high card is a jack and the board is not co-ordinated. I'd check behind...

Re: Too thin of a fold?

I wouldn't fold here for 1 bet.MP1 could have a hand like AJ or a bad bluff. Unlikely i know but so many players play so badly or illogically its alway worth calling on the river for 1 bet.

How did i play this?

Re: 2 Overcards and BDFD on paired board

I don't like it either. The pot is to small and your outs are weak. Folding is the best play here.

Re: Another AA screw-up?

I don't like folding the river here for 1 bet. Getting check raised on the turn is bad news, i'd call down from here.
