I usually fold on the flop in this situation but it seems weak to give up so easily in a raised pot. It does feel like the bettor nearly always has a Ace in this situation.

yeah i wouldnt fold it for one...did you consider just smooth calling?

I think it's fine, you raised and got a free card on the turn. And you might have eliminated draws. Villain might be on a draw himself. The rest is trying to get a cheap showdown. Therefore just check the turn. You might have to call one bet on the river, then do it.

Never fold. Flop raise is good. You want to take this to showdown cheaply, so your line was correct. Good play.

looks ok - as passively as opponent has played turn and river I'd probably value bet the river.
