Re: $100 live tourney
[ QUOTE ]
I got shown AA here and wonder if there's anyway I get away from this?
[/ QUOTE ]
Nope, you just got unlucky. Deepstacked, you might get away from it, with an M of 15 or so, no way.

The Bluff Call
This guy had stacked me 3 times. Each time I had pushed pre-flop and sucked out on him. I had been short stacked and unable to get any traction, so I was pushing a lot, and man was he tilting. Not...

Re: Good play ?
The only other way to play this hand would have been to push pre-flop in an attempt to isolate villian 1. I don't dislike the call though. You have a very strong hand. Don't be results oriented. ...

Re: 10+1 15k Gar Shove steal
Barring any reads on others or yourself, it looks fine. If the SB is loose, I would be much more hesitant to push this.

Stars 180 man 10+1
The villian is pretty laggy. His preflop numbers are something like 33/22, and he's moderately aggressive after the flop. I've been playing a typical TAG game, which is pretty tight for the table,...

Re: Total Beginner\'s Question
Don't forget that 77 can win without hitting a set. If I called UTG, was raised by UTG+1, and had a flop full of trash, I'd bet out. If villian is aggressive but able to fold, I might check-raise...

QQ top set against 4 flush - PP 2/4
Mostly, I need to know what play you make on the river. However, I'm also curious what you think about the flop check, good because I want action or bad because of the semi-scary board. Also, MP1...

Re: 1/2 JJ on the Buton fdacing a CO raise
I'm not good enough at these types of hands to say whether you should fold/raise the flop, but once you raised, I would call the 3-bet. By that point you're getting 12.5:1 odds. You've got the...

Re: AKo UTG+1 against LAG - Party 2/4
FYI, the villian showed down QxJc. I would have posted his AF, but I had left the table a while before and replayed this hand because it was my biggest BB loss of the night. Thanks for all of the...

I think preflop is good. Given that you think villain is aggressive postflop, I think flop is good. I'd slow...

Party Poker raked hands/hands
I'm working on the PP reload bonus right now. PP has me at 188 out of 1000 hands, while PT has me at 404. I was wondering what kind of ratios you get raked hands/played hands. I know not every...
