Re: NL 10 AJs great flop, lots of aggro.

[ QUOTE ]

If hero shoves it could be interpreted as an attempt to isolate the shorty (yeah I know this is NL$10, but not everyone is brain dead there) so shoving the flop has some merit.

I go all in, SB folds ?! , BB calls. UTG+1 shows 44, big blind shows 33, and two non-club bricks later I'm broke. I was getting a decient overlay...

Re: Paying Off on the River?

[ QUOTE ]
As played probably call at that price but I would have shoved the river. If he has AxKd he snap calls and all other hands have a damn tough spot IMO because if he doesn't have AxKd its a...

Ungh, pot is so large in relation to bet. Um call and hope for bluff? These hands make me throw my mouse across room, then again any hand I lose does, hence my big box o' $3 mice and...

(Note havent played any NL200 before, so not sure how much my opinion will help, but I'll throw my two cents in).

Re: NL 10 AJs great flop, lots of aggro.

Ya, wasn't considering folding this either. My main questions were:

A: Push or call. I know, calling = death in poker, but I'm thinking I'm often behind here, so should I try to get more people...

NL 10 AJs great flop, lots of aggro.

I didn't have my Poker Tracker/PAH up so no stats on villans at time (slows my computer down so much. *Sigh* the trivial woes of a broke college student). Haven't seen them get too dumb, although...

Re: 25NL - 2Pair on Flop Gets Raised on River, Line Check

Lead the flop, because of FD/SD, bet turn. As played I'd call river. He could have slowplayed a set/bigger 2 pair or hit a str8. There are a lot of hands that you beat here though, and your...

uNL 10 QQ vs. deep stacked push

Hello, First post in the no limit boards after being a long time SS Limit Holdem Player. Liked NL better, got myself Phil's Little Green Book and others and got to work. Well, what should I do...

Re: Turn value bet??

I'd be betting this turn, check the river UI. If you had the 2 of spades where both of your duces will win if they hit then I might check as you have a 2 outer that will win like 99.9%...

And saying that learning more about theory and practicing by playing online and that you can't make money even though there are terribly bad players is just completely retarded.

Local Game, strange spread limit structure. Any thoughts?

Well, the place where I play at live we started out at .05/.10 No Limit. Soon the stakes started to rise to .25/.50.

Then the guy who ran the game, who I guess got pissed at donkeys moving in...

Not sure about this one in .05/.1 at Stars. I play at stars and you'll get like 2-3 cold calls/blind calls or reraised and be playing for a set in the former and on...

Hm, very intresting. QJ also owns you from one of the blnds if the SB is terrible or maybe if the BB got it suited or is bad. I think a B/F stragety is too weak here though. Granted MP2...

This is a very intresting hand and probably a good fold on the turn. The CO could have anything. I wish we had more of a read here, but I assume since you have only the weak/tight read on the bb...
