Re: NL200, QQ, what to do preflop?

Don't risk the flop not hitting and push. Your push gives you a really good shot at (1) taking the $64 in the pot now (a hefty sum), and (2) winning more if someone calls.

Re: QQ vs flopdonk, paired turn.

He calls that on the flop he probably has two pair and/or flush draw. The fact that he led off means that he prob. doesn't just have the flush draw unless he was trying to buy the pot.

The fact...

Re: Poker Tracker

It's most useful with a HUD, like PokerAce. Otherwise you have to look up your opponents stats.

As for usefulness, pretty much everyone here will vouch for it, but in the end it's a mathmatical,...

Re: NL200(6max)River decision with TPGK

You're getting really good money on it, so lacking a strong read or good stats I say take your almost 4:1

Re: QQ 3 bet; Safe Flop

I can see this being hard to lay down, but a reraise that size in a .50/1 game preflop plus the all in after the low flop was screming aces to me, even before I got to the results.

With that huge...

Re: Dammit.

I don't think CO is as sneaky as you make him out to be, I agree with the assesment of AA, push.

Re: Hate. The. Minraise.

9 times out of 10 he'll have a set or the 10-9, unless you have a really good read, against someone that passive after the flop I'd drop the hand.

Re: can i call the all-in here?

Since you don't have top pair and you also have an oesd I would have called and hoped to draw here, even though you may be a favorite.

Re: AK - TPTK OOP, 4-way flush draw and lead

Unless someone has trips you're probably good here, the main things your looking out for are two pair and trips. You want to price out the person drawing to a straight but allow someone who has two...

Re: deep stack , confusing hand HELP

Yeah, call, there are only a handful of hands that beat you here, 66, JJ, J2, J5, J6, but he probably had the flush. A boat is one of those hands that if you have it and it's beat you can bust...

Re: Does anybody know Games Grid Poker?

yeah, they have about 3 or 4 active tables at a time, very few players. The only native mac client though, which is a pity.

Re: $200 NL AK Tough spot

PF bet = good
Pot on the Flop, if you get raised good chance you are up against 2 pair or three of a kind, then fold. . .
Turn, if you didn't fold assume you're still ahead, pot again or push. ...

Re: Over-pair with flush draw, suited flop with potential straight flush

given that he didn't raise or bet at the flop first I would have bet the pot at the turn as you probably have the best hand up until then. At the River there's a slight chance that he out drew you...

Re: bending cards?

So yes you can do it without hurting the cards and they won't care. The real question is can you do it without showing the two people next to your your cards?

we need a new acronym here, WIDP, When In Doubt, Pot. It seems to be pretty accurate.

Re: Vegas pokerrooms

I was there last week and stayed at the Luxor, don't play Luxor, Excalibur or Mandalay unless you want to be drawn out in every hand by a fish. Quite frustrating. I agree that the bellagio 2/5 200...

Re: 109, 2 shorties all in, I think I suck.

best you could hope for here to is have two over cards to each of your opponents which still isn't great with two opponents, you're still over 10x BB so let it pass

Re: results

not having played that specific game it seemed like a fine raise, I'm just surprised that nether 99 nor AK raised first. Were I in your position I would have called too.

Re: Multiway 5/10 hand

a push makes it too exspensive to call to a flush draw and if he has two pair he only has 4 outs. If he has higher trips I think this is just one of those cases where if you don't have a read on him...

Re: I have had bad luck.......

as for controlling tilt, I agree with Josh, take a few bad beats and just chill out, don't play borderline hands, give your self some time to level out and it will take less and less time to recover...

Re: 2-5 at MGM, trips, deep stacks present

call. chances are you have him beat, if you do raise he'll know it and fold if you don't you don't lose any more money. Since you're a short stack protect what you have left.

Re: 100 NL tough call or easy fold?

I'd call. I also wouldn't min raise there. MP could very well have an over pair and doesn't want anyone drawing to the flush. The full house is a distinct possibility here, but limping with 99 or 55...

Re: 2/5 @ Wynn - big draw

new here, but call, you're getting near even odds, drawing to something like 18 outs unless he has trips, then it's less.

I wouldn't push if only because then all your stack is on the draw,...
