I have had bad luck.......

I've had such terrible luck in hold 'em the past 5 times. I mean this is just rediculous. How do I deal w/ this?

I'll give you 1 of 5 bad beats I've had in the past 5 and more times in a row:

This was an $80 dollar pot for the night. I was waiting for the perfect hand to go all in. I finally had it:

My hand: K8
Opponents hand: KJ

Flop:

7 2 K

Turn:

8

With the turn I made a 2 pair with K's and 8's. All my opponent had was K's with Jack high and he calls me.

River:

J

He made the higher 2 pair with a Jack on the river.

The bad thing is this has been 1 of many in a row latley.

I just dont know what to do. I've had the worst luck latley. How do you avoid getting so upset. Any suggestions?

I didn't read your post but I read your title and I have something to add. Yesterday I was playing texas hold'em and you should have seen this ridiculous hand I played. I held KJ and made top pair with a solid kicker on the flop. I bet and someone called. The turn brought a harmless looking 8 and I bet again and got raised. I decided to call. The river was a J giving me top 2 pair, and the pot. You should have seen what the garbage playing donkey turned over...K8!!! Wow he got so lucky on the turn, that is so unlucky for me. What a garbage playing donkey. I'm glad the best hand won though.

as for controlling tilt, I agree with Josh, take a few bad beats and just chill out, don't play borderline hands, give your self some time to level out and it will take less and less time to recover over time. Once you can deal with the bad beat act a little, if you take a bad beat with QQ and pick up KK on the next hand act like you're tilting, get's callers like nothing else.
