Default 100 NL tough call or easy fold?

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $1.00 BB (5 handed) converter

MP ($64.40) <font color="red"> 47/7 after 60 hands</font>
Button ($75.60) <font color="red"> 36/3 calling station</font>
Hero ($96.55)
BB ($54.20)
UTG ($123.80)

Preflop: Hero is SB with 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].
<font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, MP calls $1, Button calls $1, Hero completes, BB checks.

Flop: ($4) 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(4 players)</font>
Hero checks, BB checks, MP checks, <font color="#CC3333">Button bets $3</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $6</font>, BB calls $6, MP calls $6, Button calls $3.

Turn: ($28) 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(4 players)</font>
Hero checks, <font color="#CC3333">BB bets $10</font>, <font color="#CC3333">MP raises to $57.4</font>, Button folds, Hero ??? </font>

While playing the 25-1K contest as I don't have the BR or the skills yet to play here regularly.

I was *very* surprised that my flop c/r didn't thin the field a little.

Hand ranges (?) - someones got the other 3 and my kicker is no good - but this pot is huge. MP either has turned a set of 9's or is raising with air. 50/50 either way. BB is likely calling all-in behind me - calling station that he is tho I think he has A3 K3 or any three that beats me.

Anyone call this??

You check min-raised. Minraising does anything but thin the field, just dont do it. If you had made a pot sized raise to say $10 it would make the rest of the hand a bit easier i think.

Raise the flop to $14.
As played, fold the turn.

Just curious, why $14? I normally make about a pot-sized raise here which would be to ~$10, is that too small?

$12 is OK too. I like to give really bad donkey drawing odds here - 2x what's in front of you(5 handed - 4 way multi). Few people give credit for a 3 (even if your in the blind), and people will call with over pairs or 5's.
I'd also lead turn, but if I strt to get too much resistance, then I abandon ship knowing I showed great interest in the pot.

A PSR would be making it $13. Call the bet making it a $10 pot. Then raise the $10 on top of your $3 call, making it $13.

Yeah how stupid I never factored my call before raising, good to know, haha.

I folded.

River was a 7.

Villains had 55 and 43 respectively - and I missed out on a monster suck out

still at least I made the right play

You would have still lost- you had 3s full of 7s and villain had 5s full of 3s, and you were ahead of the other villain.
