Re: BEAT: I\'ve got a mouse in da house

Snap traps? Glue traps? Rats or cats? Eff that. Get a snake. Way more fun watching the mice get eaten by a snake than by a cat. Trust me man, snakes ftw.

100NL: AKs flops top 2, like this line?

Villain is 20/3 over ~100 hands. I don't raise the flop because I don't want to scare weaker Aces away, check behind on turn to induce a bluff or get weak Aces to bet. Do you like this line? ...

Re: AA against bad player on a tough flop, turn becomes interesting

[ QUOTE ]
Bet turn raise river. You have the best hand. Get all in somewhere.

[/ QUOTE ]

Exactly. If he called the flop w/ a Jack, he's not gonna fold it once the 10 hits. If he's got a 10...

Re: 50NL Bet this turn with AA?

Check behind on the turn. Get to showdown as cheaply as possible. The turn just completed the flush draw.

I'd raise more on the flop, to around $18. Your smallish raise here just lets villain...

Re: 100nl kk, the situation we all must face.

This could be villain dependent if you know he doesn't reraise PF with anything besides AA. Obviously, if you know that, then fold.

Barring that info, I raise to $50-$55. If he pushes, I...

50NL: AK flops TPTK + NFD

I don't think it matters much, but villain is 20.9 / 6.78 through ~ 150 hands. Am I correct in thinking there's absolutely no possible way to (correctly) fold here given the pot odds? Would you...

Re: 50nl: JJ facing donk bets, completely lost

First I'd raise more preflop, either to $2 or $2.50. You've got a good hand so make him pay to try to beat it.

I raise the flop to define my hand and see where I'm at, if called I'm not going any...

Re: turned a set. rivered full house. how was this played?

I wouldn't fold to the flop rr either. I'd go with a 3/4PSB or PSB on the turn, same on river.

Re: $25 87s... learning to play cash, and suited connectors, etc

Preflop: I'd fold preflop UTG. SC's are best played from LP. Remember, position is your friend.

Flop: Sure, your OESD looks nice, but hitting the straight is probably your only win, a Jack...

Whiffed the limp reraise here, he didn't bet enough on the flop or turn to push me out, and he can't fold when he should.

Re: First ever FRNLOL happy weekend thread

I've got one! Usually I'm not playing this OOP but it's an obvious steal situation for the button, so I called figuring to force a fold later, or get lucky if he really had a hand as we've both got...

25NL: Calling PF reraise w/ J-10s in position.

Re: [$50NL] How\'s this AA hand?

I would most likely call, unless there is some read that I'm beaten. I think pushing on the flop would have been much better than calling. As was said before, trips/2pair seems unlikely given the...
