Flush draw = Da Nuts! (it's only a horrible call if someone has a set or better flush draw - OOPS!)

thanks all for the new forum. Hopefully i can contribute. I am a 200 NL nit.

I limped with aces this hand because there was a 60/30 maniac and another loose player opening most pots. But a very tight player (10/4) opened to ten MP1. This narrows his range in my mind to qq,kk or other two aces or maybe aks and this player has a tough time folding an overpair. therefore i decide to cold call since i have perfect info on his hand and he has no info on my hand. plus everytime i cold call preflop with AA i hit the ace on the flop. On the river i even tell him he has QQ and then value push since there is no way he has two high diamonds in his hand.

also, how do you make it so the results are not in white?

Edit the post manually before you submit it - Go in and delete the brackets that set the colour.

I've got one! Usually I'm not playing this OOP but it's an obvious steal situation for the button, so I called figuring to force a fold later, or get lucky if he really had a hand as we've both got 200BB+ stacks.

Absolute Poker
No Limit Holdem Ring game
Blinds: $0.25/$0.50
9 players
Converter

Stack sizes:
UTG: $45.47
UTG+1: $11.70
MP1: $106.60
MP2: $28.55
MP3: $29.25
CO: $13.70
Button: $100.25
SB: $56.73
Hero: $151.05

Pre-flop: (9 players) Hero is BB with 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
6 folds, <font color="#cc0000">Button raises to $1.5</font>, SB folds, Hero calls.

Flop: 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] ($3.25, 2 players)
Hero checks, <font color="#cc0000">Button bets $1</font>, <font color="#cc0000">Hero raises to $4.5</font>, <font color="#cc0000">Button raises to $9</font>, Hero calls.

Turn: 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] ($21.25, 2 players)
<font color="#cc0000">Hero bets $10</font>, Button calls.

River: A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] ($41.25, 2 players)
<font color="#cc0000">Hero bets $20</font>, Button calls.
Results:
Final pot: $81.25
Hero Shows 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
Villain mucks K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

Put him on overpair after his flop reraise, if I knew he had a 9 I'd have been betting much heavier after I hit. Oh well, maybe next time.
