Re: Where I own myself with KK
unless you two have a history i see no value in four betting, someone with those stats isnt stupid enough to call a four bet with much less than kk (as is aa/kk/maybe ak) but when do just flat call...

Re: increasingly common spot in small stakes
yeh i dont like bet folding either, if i bet it's to call a shove. my problem with check calling tho is how many cards are there that make me squirm on the turn? so even tho i think it's unlikely...

increasingly common spot in small stakes
when i started playing three years ago or so i remember somebody on this forum telling me not to three bet jj from the sb from an utg raise. a quite irrelevant start to my post except to show how...

Re: Trips Deep OOP - 100NL
cudn't really give you a specific read he hadn't done too much. he did get his stack though by way over playing KK on a really horrible board and his opponent missing their straight flush outs. i...

Trips Deep OOP - 100NL
Easy, this may be well easy i dunno. The button in this hand is 32/14/3.78 after just over 200 hands. I have seen him bluff missed draws on the river but I'm pretty sure this raise means he has...

Getting rid of the losing mentality
Easy,
I've been playing now for over two years, mostly small stakes NL (1-2 and below). I have always done pretty well and was always pretty philosophical when dealing with beats and variance...

Playing Small Stakes Heads Up
Easy,
Can someone please give some advice or a link to some on playing heads up small stakes as .5/1 and 1/2. I know it's very opponent dependent but I mean is it raise or fold on the button? What...

Re: Rivered Straight on Paired Board
Do you mean call instead of raising or instead of folding? Because as I said I wasn't thinking of folding but I was just wondering whether as a rule with only a 2/3 pot raise left to make it is a...

Rivered Straight on Paired Board
Easy, just wondering as a rule how you play these when they come up. I always seem to get it wrong so thought I'd post one to see what people say. Obviously I'm not folding but is it an easy raise or...

Re: How often do we cbet?
I think you have to judge whether to cb on the texture of the board and the quality and number the opponents. Against three opponents I'll rarely cont bet without something, against two standard...

Top two, semi deep tough spot
Easy, main villain in this hand is 38/13/2.5. He has shown a tendency to stack off with top pair, but playing them passively against lots of aggression. He has also been calling large bets with...

Re: QQ Faces All-In on a Dry Flop
I agree with calling flop and taking it from there. With QQ in a reraised pot I think you've gotta make a decision preflop based on your opponent whether you're playing for stacks or not on a rag brd...

Interesting river - Value Bet?
Posted a few days ago on a marginal value bet. I think not value betting marginal hands is easily the biggest leak in my game. Played this hand earlier and obvisouly had a hand in the range I put...

Re: AQs - Who backs it with their stack?
If you're playing a proper lag game and you view this guy as good enough to adjust his play then this is exactly the sort of spot you are trying to get into to back with your stack. If you think this...

I thin kyou played it fine, unless you think you this guy is good enough to read a non full pot bet on the river as weakness then I have no problem with this. You've bet three streets on a mono brd,...
