unless you two have a history i see no value in four betting, someone with those stats isnt stupid enough to call a four bet with much less than kk (as is aa/kk/maybe ak) but when do just flat call...

yeh i dont like bet folding either, if i bet it's to call a shove. my problem with check calling tho is how many cards are there that make me squirm on the turn? so even tho i think it's unlikely...
