[ QUOTE ]

[/ QUOTE ]

10NL UB tough spots vs same villain

Villain is 52/1.89/2.2 over 100+ hands

Ran up against this guy over a number of hands. I kept running into him when I felt I was ahead preflop, but the board turned it around. Did I get away ok...

Re: The anti station

I have actually been doing this as well lately. It seems to work pretty decent, however I don't have a large enough sample size for actual results.

[ QUOTE ]
Raise pocket pairs preflop. Period. The end. As played, I play it the same and fill up on turn/river.

[/ QUOTE ]

You raise 22 from the sb after everyone limps?

Re: 10 NL UB line check w/ 77 on dry board

My standard c-bet on the river is 3/4 pot. Should I be potting here anyways then?

What is my bet on the turn? I think I was expecting a re-raise here and was not sure how to approach this. Make...

Re: pocket QQ slow played

He was the re-raiser, so I don't mind letting him bet here. Nice hand.

Re: Q-high flush, unpaired board, decision time

I raise this preflop, move in on TPTK and fold otherwise. I fold this flop without hesitation.

Re: $10nl how do you prevent getting stacked over pair vs > over pair?

I rereaise TT here because I want to know if I am playing an overpair or playing for set value. If the villain pops back hard, a good fold saves money in the long run.

10 NL UB line check w/ 77 on dry board

Villain is 54/11/1.6 over 93 hands

Besides hitting a set, this is pretty much the best flop and turn I could ask for. I raise the turn for value because I think I am ahead. If he pops back, I...

10 NL UB TPTK in large pot

Villain is 32/1.5/1 over ~50 hands

I jam the turn here to prevent the draw, standard. Is it fine to check this river? I figure my value is already there and I need to just end this hand.

Re: 10nl FR: Set of Queens raised on river

Why aren't you betting this turn?

I call the river and except to be ahead most of the time. This could be a bluff, 2nd pair, 2 pair and maybe even the backdoor flush.

10NL UB preflop play vs maniac

Villain is 66/66, seriously. Already lost $15 buying in short 3 times. He pots it virtually every street on every hand.

No one had bet into him yet preflop, he was always the aggressor. A...

Re: NL10 - Top Set, Flush Draw Gets There on the Turn

5/10 rule applies to 22-1010 for set mining as well, correct?

Re: UB 10NL - OOP facing reraise with 1010

Actually Marshall, one more thing: I am trying to go through the implied odds on this hand but am not sure about some things.

So I would have to pay $1.50 to win $2, which means I am basically...

Re: UB 10NL - OOP facing reraise with 1010

I guess I figured I had some FE vs broadways and some lower pp's. Just to be sure, the amount of the reraise is the indicator here that I am beat?
