Re: flopped set vs calling station
On this wet flop against a calling station, I'm betting pot.
Turn bet I'm making closer to $9 or so. River just push. He's only got $16 left, he probably would have led out had he hit his flush. |

Re: flopped set vs calling station

Re: flopped set vs calling station
[ QUOTE ]
pot the flop, pot the turn, push the river [/ QUOTE ] Newb question: what is calling the river push that we beat? Looks to me like he is folding anything except a flush here, which he then calls. |

Re: flopped set vs calling station
Part of what makes a call station a call station is that they call a lot with mediocre hands............................................. ..............................
(k push river if you think he's a station) |

flopped set vs calling station [/ QUOTE ] this sentence alone means that you have all streets of value. [ QUOTE ] Newb question: what is calling the river push that we beat? Looks to me like he is folding anything except a flush here, which he then calls. [/ QUOTE ] Not betting the river is a crime. He is calling station, so don't give tight calling range on flop and turn. I would value bet AA on this river against station, let alone set. He will call you again with Tx, 7x, 8x, or whatever. Just bet it bet it bet it bet it bet it bet it and then ship it |
