10NL UB preflop play vs maniac
Villain is 66/66, seriously. Already lost $15 buying in short 3 times. He pots it virtually every street on every hand.
No one had bet into him yet preflop, he was always the aggressor. A better line would probably be to call behind and hope to hit TPTK+ and move in. I adjusted to this after this hand. However, at the point where I found myself facing a 3-bet how bad is a shove here? My fear was that we would both miss the flop but I could not call down his flop bet with air. Ultimate Bet No Limit Holdem Ring game Blinds: $0.05./$0.10. 5 players Converter Stack sizes: Hero: $9.84 CO: $8 Button: $2.05 SB: $56.69 BB: $7.28 Pre-flop: (5 players) Hero is UTG with K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] Hero calls, CO raises to $0.45, 3 folds, Hero raises to $1.3, CO raises to $4.2, Hero raises all-in $9.84, CO calls all-in $8. |
