The Chang Le boys on PokerStars

For those of you who play 1/2 or above on Stars you should know who these guys are. Lately players have really been laying into these guys for being bots...those that play against these guys, what...

Re: 2/4 Stud hi fine laydown?

[ QUOTE ]
You can't induce a bluff in position, but checking behind looks palatable here. If your opponent never check/raises the river, this is definitely a bet, though.

After checking through sixth, both opponents will fold more than eight percent of the time, I believe. You've built a huge pot with no hand, and...

Re: 2/4 Stud hi fine laydown?

When it seems fairly obvious the villian is chasing to a flush, or straight for that matter, you should just check/call the river unless you got a read. If your betting the river for value you got...

Re: Made couple of mistakes stud hi

First, just call third street. You don't want to knock anyone out by raising. Your hand plays very well against a field of opponents.

On fifth street you need to check/fold. Your strong...

Re: Small pot, big laydown?

"fairly loose, fairly erratic"

So, in erratic do you mean aggressive or just all over the place? If he's loose and aggressive make it $5 more, if he's loose and passive then it's an easy muck. ...

50NL: TT Reraised - Blind v. Blind - 250BB Deep

Re: High Little FPS?!

I love a completion here when the game is tight, it gives you a more "reckless" image and you will get more action on your big hands, but if it's a loose game a fold is more correct.

Since you...

Re: High 2 pair concerns

Hand 1 I think is fine, I play the same way. It's already heads up so I slowplay is fine here. When he 3-bets fifth, it's auto call down mode for me.

Hand 2 I play the same way until sixth where...

Re: On a resteal at 2/4 (high)- Bet into on 5th

I would love the third street play if it were against someone you knew to be aggro in position, but against a complete unknown I would call most times with the intention of raising or check raising...

Re: 2 pair from BI on fourth in unraised pot (2/4 High)

My line of thinking was to go ahead and get the raise in on fifth because if I catch a heart (very live) I might get a check or if I pair my board I have to lead in which case I wouldn't mind taking...

2 pair from BI on fourth in unraised pot (2/4 High)

Villian is fairly new to the table, no reads yet.

EDIT: Forgot to add, I have been playing very aggressive this game, stealing pots when people seem week, and raising alot to thin the field. ...

Re: Basic bring-in question

I've probably played around 75k or so hands of stud, and I don't think that I've ever brought it in for the full amount. I think that it gives away too much information way too fast. I personally...

Re: Deuces bring in about forty bucks????

Do you have a hand history? Stab in the dark, two busted draws went check/check on the river? Pair of twos are good.

Re: Stud Hi: Two Small Pairs on 4th Street Poll.

I think it depends on the makeup of the table and if it's 3 to fourth or 5 to fourth. I voted check-raise hoping that someone to my right limped in late position that they would be willing to bet...

You're specific starting requirements are too loose. You want to play more hands in this game but NOT any three cards. AKx is typically NOT a good hand, but it can be played for cheap in late...

Re: 7 stud hi, and position?

First off .50/1 at Party is a crapshoot because of the super high ante structure (.25 ante .50 BI I think). If you are last to act you should be playing a wide variety of hands in an unraised pot. ...

The draw is usually about even money against 1 high pair.

If you have overcards to the suspected pair, you are favored.
