Re: JTs on Ten high flop

[ QUOTE ]
With a limp-call, call oop from villain, we have to ask ourselves just what the hell he is calling with. T32r flop.

You know, he could be asking the same question about...

Re: DBitel/Set implied odds revisited (Math calcs)

[ QUOTE ]
I'm not sure I follow about the dead money. 2/4. You raise to 16, BB 3bets to 48. You have to call 32. Then you use the 11.2 or 11.7 figure. 11.2*32=360. You have to win 360 every time to...

Re: DBitel/Set implied odds revisited (Math calcs)

Yeah, it's meant as an absolute maximum, and therefore makes a number of unrealistic assumptions, but they're the same assumptions DBitel made (along with the addition of the dead money calcs).

So...

Re: 50NL- QQ 3bet with interesting flop

You left out two overcalls (one flat call, and the call by the raiser). More importantly, as I point out in my new post, since you know villain doesn't have either of the other two cards of your...

DBitel/Set implied odds revisited (Math calcs)

Just a link to some calcs I did to improve on DBitel's implied odds to hit a set post (see here (http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/showflat.php?Cat=0&Number=8522419&page=0&fpart=all&vc=1)):

DBitel/Set implied odds revisited (Math calcs)

Hi Everyone,

I took a look at DBitel's post (http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/showflat.php?Cat=0&Number=8522419&page=0&fpart=all&vc=1) on the implied odds you need to call a raise for set value,...

Re: 50NL- QQ 3bet with interesting flop

At this point, it's pretty much a theoretical question I'm asking, since I'd have to know villain is definitely the kind of player to felt with AA/KK overpair, or fold an AA/KK overpair to pressure,...

$25 NL 6-max: KK meets horrible river card/villain shove

So villan calls a bet from hero with AA/KK on a Q-high flop, then folds to hero's turn bet?

Re: $25 NL 6-max: I rep flush on turn, 4-flush on river makes 2 pair

Agreed on stacks: I didn't take that into consideration, and only the checked flop allowed me to make this play with proper bet-sizes.

Notice, though, that I was playing the board with complete...

Yeah I like it. Given his play, it looks like he had KK-QQ with one /images/graemlins/diamond.gif and got there on the river. If he didn't have a diamond, I think you would've won it with...

$25 NL 6-max: I rep flush on turn, 4-flush on river makes 2 pair

Just a sanity check more than anything. Did I rep the flush well on the turn, and was folding the river correct? I'm pretty sure if a non-diamond comes on the river, it's a check/push and I take it...

NL $25 6-max: Flop two pair on monotone board OOP
