PS .02/.05 TPTK Not much money left on turn
Villain has called almost all of my PF raises. On the flop he usually bets on if he catches a piece and tends to make some loose calls.

Re: CC on button with KQo
If you aren't going to fold, is it better to raise or just call?
My general argument was to fold PF, but if you thought UTG was going to raise light (which we have to reason to believe at this...

CC on button with KQo
This was a hand I was discussing with some other people and I was hoping to get the collective wisdom of 2+2. It' the fourth hand at the table, so there is no read.

I hope you dont read my post and conclude, "Grunch is telling me I should raise PF and CB flops liberally." That's not what I'm saying. Actually, I'm almost saying the opposite. You...

If you are raising to win with a CB, it shouldn't matter what your cards are. Choosing QTo to CB with is missing an important point: when your CB gets called, you don't want to have put...

You are fooling yourself.
Preflop is loose. QTo is not a fantastic hand to isolate with. You can't even beat Ace-high. I'm not saying it's a 100% fold, but it is somewhere around...

it is not that he called the all in on the turn, it is that he limp called my preflop raise with a junk hand. A5s is instamuck in my opinion and would only be played from the BB on a...

Re: two pair on flop, 5NL. passive villian.
You might get a small flush to fold, but they don't have to call that often for your push to be wrong (I didn't do the math).
A and K of clubs would probably fold, but you actually want them to...

push or fold, you cant call here. You are most likely in a flip and while i hate flipping in cash games, sometimes its worth it. You will see a big A here more often than an big pair.

Also, don't 3-bet 13/2 nits with anything less than KK. At these limits, treat a minraise as a REAL raise until proven otherwise.

I don't feel very good about you hand here. Good fold. I can't imagine he would have anything you would be a significant favorite against.

Re: Rake/Staked
Is the rake the same at 6/12? It seems, if it is, that one should play in that game instead. I've never sat in it though, so I don't know how tough it is.
