Re: bankroll management question for home games
There are several schools of thought for bankroll management.
First off, do you even need a bankroll? If you have other sources of income where blowing several hundred dollars won't keep you out...

Re: 25NL - AKo easy PF question
There's a great section near the back of NLT&P that goes into great detail about how profitable shoving AK is, and they only mention it with regards to open-shoving to steal the blinds. So when the...

Re: Staking Questions????
I've thought about this situation before.
The standard I've seen is staker gives stakee money to play. If busto, staker is out and stakee doesn't owe anything. Any winnings are split ammicably....

1/2NL live, 88 on button
A friend described this hand to me. I would like some opinions.
1/2NL, 10 handed live game, effective stacks around $150 (maybe a shorty or two mixed in). Typical player here will see too many...

This game was insanely fun until we realized that any nose tackle in the league could get 20+ sacks per game just by mashing buttons on every snap.
It obviously was broken after that point, but...

Ho Chunk -- 1/2 NL begins...
Ho Chunk finally started a 1/2 NL game on Sunday and Monday. Sunday was $5 per half hour timed rake, Monday was 10% of the pot, $4 max (I think).
Both times they opened it up tables filled...

This one depends for me. If SB and BB have been fighting back and forth the last 10 hands or so it might look like you're finally trying to fight back (and could come off as doing so lightly). I'd...
