Re: $25 NL stars - My set comes on the turn and I.. drop the ball?

Agree with whats been said about rr pre and lead flop, but as played, assuming your plan is check raising the turn if he bets I like the turn check.

With 2 flush draws out there hes betting just...

Re: 50NL AQo rr pot OOP

[ QUOTE ]
Do people mind a fold here in the BB? I get very nitty in the blinds and usually wont re raise without something premium which i dont consider AQo to be.

Re: KQ to river flush scare...good or bad play?

Easy check behind on turn IMO. I get called down to often by Ace rag in these spots to make 2nd barreling 2nd pair profitable.

As played I dont see any worse hands betting here so river I probably...

Re: Top 2 pairs on 9TJ

If we're folding out all (nearly) all worse hands and only getting called by better hands it seems like turning your hand into a bluff to me.

If there was a flush draw on the flop Id agree with...

Re: Top 2 pairs on 9TJ

b/f sucks really hard IMO.

I probably just call the raise and reevaluate turn. I think by moving in here we're basically turning our hand into a bluff as I think there are very few hands that can...

Re: Straight runs into tough decision

Also I cant think of a single good reason why betting flop is better than checking.

Re: Straight runs into tough decision

I like it a lot - villain doeesnt figure to have a big hand so kinda pricing him in seems like the best way to stack him.

I usually hate this kinda play but against shortstack villains I think...

Re: Simple pre-flop question

Hmm folding kinda makes you too easy to 3 bet off of button steals. If your opening a (presumably) large range on the button but are folding to 3 bets with hands as strong as 88 it seems your going...

Re: Fold KK on the flop after aggression

Wow I cant believe how many people are saying this is a fold. I'm sure were beat here a decent % of the time, but I cant imagine many villains whos range is tight enough to make this a fold,...

Re: NL25 - in position facing possible squeeze play

Calling is by far the worst option here, you're leaving yourself with less than a psb left on the flop - I assume we're folding any non six flop.

If you think hes fos you can bluff shove here...

Re: 25nl AA on a monotone flop; how is my line?

This is seriously one of the worst hands Ive ever seen posted here.

You've got to bet flop for value/protection and, oh my god, surely the turn is a must bet

Re: 25NL: 3 barrels

After calling turn and seeing the blankest of rivers yeah qx is calling a lot.

Re: KK - turn card bleh, played correctly?

[ QUOTE ]

I shoved the turn rather than checking because if I had checked I would have been in a tough spot since I doubt he'll check behind.

My replys based mostly on this part...

bet turn for value+protection.

Fold the river. You are good here like never.

Fold river getting this price? May as well just fold preflop.

Re: 25NL: 3 barrels

What are you repping here? Every draw missed and I think this gets snap called a high percentage of the time.

Re: KK - turn card bleh, played correctly?

If your committed to the hand anyway, and your pretty sure hes betting turn I much prefer check/call AI, than just shoving turn.

Shoving turn folds out exactly no better hands, and you let some...

Re: NL 50 valuebet river here?

$15 - $20 and expect to be called by a king.

I dont see any 2 pair hands other than maybe k9 being shown down here the way the hands played out

Re: NL 50 valuebet river here?

I bet here 100% of the time, theres too much value lost by checking this down

Re: Top 2 - WTF?

I called eventually and he had AK diamonds and missed.

Still not sure it was the best play though
